Mentally retarded homosexual Marcelo de ANDRADE worshipped his mother like a saint and went to church four times a week. 1991 - adged 25 - he killed 13 young boys from 6 to 13, raped them, drank their blood and feasted on their flesh. According to his own confessions he did this “to become as beautiful as them”.

ANDRADE´s killings ended, when he fell in love with one of his victims so passionately, that he was not able to kill him. 10 year old Altair de ABREU told stunning police officers the incredible story of the murder and rape of his 6-year old brother Ivan.
“A man named Marcelo talked to us at a bus station and persuaded us to help him lighten candles for a saint. Heading towards a church he suddenly stopped when bypassing a vacant lot, turned on Ivan and started strangling him. I was so paralyzed with fear that I could not run away, just had to watch as this man killed and then raped my brother. When he was finished with Ivan, he turned to me, hugged me and told me, how much he loves me.”
After Altair agreed upon spending the night with de ANDRADE, he managed to run away - directly to the next police station.
When police arrived at the office, where de ANDRADE lived, he was very calm and immediately confessed to Ivan´s murder. It took months before he also talked about the other homicides.
de ANDRADE made a fragile impression to the investigators, and their blood froze, when he talked about the killings with a quiet, soft voice.
de ANDRADE told police, he preferred young boys, because they were so beautiful and had such soft skin. A priest told him, that children go directly to heaven when killed before aged 13. So he thought to do them a favour, sending them directly to heaven.
de ANDRADE further confessed, he cut off some of his victims heads with a machete, he borrowed from his mother, to drink their spurting blood.
de ANDRADE stays in an psychiatric asylum today.
