i'm not at all interested in that idiot's facebook bullshit. he's a moron/stalker/liar and adds nothing to this sad case.

edit to add: evidently he is related. one of the dumber relations.
he has shut it down. it says currently unavailable. but how is he going to have his trysts now?
photos from the mom at store a few hours before baby missing.
she bought box wine and baby food and baby wipes.
she is with a young adult male. i believe she has 2 brothers in that category.

Images from a Festival Foods Supermarket show Lisa Irwin's mother, Deborah Bradley, shopping with an unidentified man hours before the baby's disappearance.

Cool, that answers my question about how he's supposed to be related. Whoever commented about the case becoming a circus train was right on the mark.

Also, my hope is fading fast that this poor child will be found alive. We're going on 8 days missing without any 'real' sightings.

Also, the areas and way that they are searching make me think it is more of a recovery mission at this point. Poor little soul.
i don't mind some facebook stuff if it's pertinent. superfluous bullshit is a different matter. edit to add: evidently he is related. one of the dumber relations.

if it comes out he is related, fine, but i don't want to hear about his pathetic wishful imaginary sex life.

i have Dickie for that.

hah
this guy is not even liscensed to be a PI in the state of Missouri. Hell he has no liscense in any state. KCTV 5 said there are complaints already filed on him about stating he is a PI. So now he is saying he is a Security Consultant or some crap like that.
he's nothing but a publicity hound media whore as i said last night. brought in by a network because they are anticipating another lucrative casey anthony case. it's all about money. and they will try to tell us otherwise. so he says he was hired anonymously. right. a fucking network who wants exclusives.
he has no more authority anywhere than any clown walking down the street. hell, he went for a ride in a POlice car today to the grandparents' house, and had to stay in the car while the real cops went in.

hahahahahaha
A couple of things on my mind about this case;

1. In the initial article I read about this case, there was mention of the baby being sick with a cold and cough. As a parent of a missing child I think I would play that up as much as possible to garner sympathy if the child had been abducted. I don't recall the parents making any comments about the illness. <correct me if I'm wrong>

2. If the mother was involved and this was planned, why buy baby food and baby wipes?

I can't help but wonder if it wasn't an accidental death revolving around over medicating. She panicked and came up with the kidnapping story.

Just some thoughts.
I totally agree with you!

Good point about buying the diapers and wipes.

I don't think it was an accidental death involving overmedicating. If you gave your baby some cold medicine and later found your baby unresponsive, most people would call 911. Heck, if that had happened to me, I probably wouldn't have even thought that the cold medicine was the cause - my first thought would have been SIDS. If she gave the baby alcohol or some other substance a child isn't supposed to have, then I could see a cover up.

I'd really like to know when someone other than the mom or dad saw Lisa.

Wonder were the kids were when she was shopping with the mystery man?

i believe her husband had not left for work yet. she went out for baby food, wipes and cheapass box wine. my attitude is "so what"?

what may have happened later is another subject entirely.

Me either.

I can't get past the stupid cell phones. Why? If you're there to abduct an infant, why take the risk of getting the phones? I don't buy that it was done to slow down a call to 911. Too risky--you'd be better off getting in/out as quickly as you can before the baby or an adult wakes up (unless you had to pass right by the phones to get to the child anyway).

I'd like to see the call history/GPS info. from the phones.
I would like to know where the baby food and diapers are that were purchased the night before. Are they sitting unused in the house? Or were they given as provisions to send away with Lisa to her new home?

Your first point is something I hadn't considered, but it makes a lot of sense. Having a baby go missing would be a nightmare, but if the baby was sick at the time the parents would have the added fear that she wasn't getting her medicine or being kept warm enough, or just being cared for properly, and you'd expect them to mention that in an appeal to the abductor.

I don't believe this was planned and the baby purchases seem to bear that out. I do think it's possible that whatever happened may have been due to the combination of a sick, cranky baby together with a fed up mother who'd been drinking and snapped. I wonder how much wine was purchased and if there was any left?

I've also noticed that the signs and t-shirts clearly refer to Lisa as 'kidnapped'. That seems a little unusual to me ... isn't the term 'missing' used in most cases? Maybe I'm the only one that thinks that's a little odd, but it struck me as a little over-insistent.

I agree with you 100% on the cell phones - the risk outweighs the reward. Plus 3 cell phones could be awkward to carry. Going in, you'd think the kidnapper would be intent on getting to the baby's room without being heard, and on the way out, you'd think a kidnapper would want to get out of there as quickly as possible before the baby cries.

I forgot about the cell phones. So how did she call 911? A land line? Nowadays a lot of people don't even have land lines due to cell phones. Myself included.

I think it's possible the mother may have snapped. Dealing with an infant requires a lot of patience, and as you said, maybe the wine was a contributing factor.

Regarding the term kidnapping, I think it's appropriate in this situation. If you're the parents and you didn't do anything to your child, how else did a child of this age disappear from her crib? On the other hand, if a toddler was outside and disappeared, I'd use the term missing unless someone saw her being taken.

I think the father had a cell with him at work that they used when he got home.
What can/can't the police get off a cellphone when it's not physically present?
