NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (Associated Press) — Four children were removed from what authorities described as a filthy Nebraska trailer home where a 3-year-old boy and his 5-year-old brother were kept in a wire dog kennel, police said Tuesday.

North Platte officers went to the home late Monday after receiving a call from someone asking that police check on the welfare of the children living there, police Lt. Rich Hoaglund said. When officers went inside, they were met with the stench of urine and found trash and animal feces throughout the home, Hoaglund said.

An officer soon found two boys, ages 3 and 5, in a 30-by-42-inch wire dog kennel. (probably the cleanest spot in the home)

"They had a small child's mattress in there, and that's where both kids were sleeping," Hoaglund said. "The gate on that door was wired shut."

The children's mother, 22-year-old Ashly Clark, told officers she put her boys in the kennel at night to keep them from climbing out of the trailer through a window, Hoaglund said. Fix your window bitch!

A couple – 25-year-old Bryson Eyten and 24-year-old Samantha Eyten – also lived in the trailer with their 8-year-old and 8-month-old children. Hoaglund said those children were not kept in the kennel. (Yeah, okay!)

Hoaglund said that while the children were living in filthy conditions, there was no evidence to suggest they had been physically abused or were malnourished. (Not surprised, looks like everyone ate well in that trailer)
Clark, the Eytens and 20-year-old Lacy Beyer, who police said also lived in the trailer, were arrested Monday night and charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree false imprisonment, two counts of felony child abuse and misdemeanor child abuse, based on the condition of the house. The children have been placed with state authorities.

"All of the adults were aware of the situation and were aware of the kids were being housed in the animal kennel and did nothing to stop it or report it," he said.

All four made initial appearances in court Tuesday afternoon, and bail was set at $50,000 for each.

Lincoln County Attorney Rebecca Harling said each of the four asked for a public defender during the court hearing Tuesday.

"They were ordered to have no contact with the four children taken into custody," Harling said

So, the animals were kept inside and the kids were put in the kennel?

That's about the size kennel you would use for one medium size dog. What the fuck is wrong with these people?
What will dick do without the rent money from these tenants?

At least now he will have more space.

They were probally worried one of the kids would run though a pile of dog shit and spread it everywhere. Kids aren't good at maneuvering around poop, they don't watch where they're going.

My son does not need to be coerced into going in one of those, he goes in on his own with a smile and closes the door behind him. Its a kidcave.
Sick worthless motherfuckers! smdh

Funny. Sounds like something you'd do.

Blowing-kisses You have no clue about this "momma" here.

I would only put people like you in a Kennel Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
I used kid gates and double door knobs and window blocks that would only let the window open a few inches to lock the kids in.

(CNN) -- Four suspects accused of keeping children in a cage in a dirty trailer home in Nebraska attended a court hearing Thursday after being charged with felony child abuse, first degree false imprisonment and misdemeanor child abuse, officials said.
The suspects were arraigned Tuesday afternoon and jailed on a $50,000 bond each, authorities said.

Their next court appearance is scheduled for November 10.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — It was an anonymous tip that led North Platte police to discover two young boys sleeping in a cramped dog kennel in their mobile home, where cats apparently ran free to scatter their waste and dogs often escaped.

Police receive a lot of bogus calls to check the well-being of children, often from estranged parents, North Platte Police Lt. Rich Hoaglund said. But when officers arrived about 11 p.m. Monday at the mobile home in question, they found a 5-year-old boy and his 3-year-old brother asleep in their pajamas, cramped and curled up on a vinyl-covered mattress inside a wire dog cage. The door was wired shut.

"They could both lie in a fetal position, but they couldn't stretch out," the lieutenant said Wednesday. Nor could they stand up.

The home reeked of pet urine and feces, amid piles of trash, rotting food and dirty clothing, Hoaglund said. Authorities found cat feces in the bathtub, among other places. That said, it appeared efforts were under way to clean up, Hoaglund said. A lot of the trash was in bags.

The kennel, he said, was one of the home's cleaner areas.

Well, the window is boarded up, so thats fixed. No need to put the kids in the kennel.

I wouldn't be able to close my eyes if that shit was outside my door. If I'm around mess, that's how my mind would be, a mess. Who the hell can think with a junky area around themselves. Poor doesn't have to equal living like a pig.
