I find this really sick. When did rape become a joke? This woman is supposed to be a psychologist. She even peed in her pants to add credibility to her story and had a friend punch her in the face. All just to get her husband to move the family out of the neighborhood.

A senior prison psychologist in California has been charged with faking her own rape to persuade her husband to move to a safer neighborhood, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Laurie Ann Martinez, 36, faces two felony counts of criminal conspiracy.

This happened in April so it might have already been discussed here, but the search feature is not working just now. For whatever reason, major news services are reporting it this week.

Hi Duchess, I tried to search for the woman's last name, Martinez. The page just froze and never came back with any hits.

Whatever the problem was it seems to be resolved. I duplicated what you did & got a page of hits.
