I wear bi-focals and have since I was 32. I hate them. If I wasn't so freaked out about anyone touching my eyes, I would get Lasik. But you have to be awake for that so no go for me. I would freak the fuck out!

I don't like things touching or near my eyes either, could never use contacts, I wear glasses for watching TV and using the computer/laptop.

I wear corrective lenses for stigmatism while driving at night otherwise no magnifyers or anything,

I wear glasses as I'm short sighted since the age of 7, however the older I get the more they improve so by the time I die I won't need them

My eyes bother me when I'm driving at night, but other than that I've never had any vision problems.

Contacts. No glasses for me. I'm too involved in summer sports to have to worry about a busted pair of glasses.

I wear glasses to see far away. I got no-line bi-focals the last prescription and I fucking hate them. I won't get the bi-focals next time. I always take my glasses off on the computer or while reading.

I have progressive bi-focals too and I hate them too. In order for the prescription to be right, I have to get huge lenses. Otherwise there isn't enough room for the progression. So I wear glasses to read and for the computer but that's it. I wish I could get the Lasik. When they figure out a way to put me under and do it I will. Otherwise they will have to give me about a dozen Valium to get me calm enough to sit through it.

I have glasses and contacts. I like the glasses..they are stylish and look cute but I always lose the damn things! I buy two pair a year and pay stupid money for the name brand with antiglare and scratch resistant lense KNOWING that I will lose them. I usually jump off the boat or dive into the ocean with them on top of my head.
This year I'm going to get a granny necklace that floats to attach to them.

I have glasses for distance that I wear driving at night or in the rain. I imagine reading glasses are in my future but I don't need them yet.

I have these "memoflex" things, metal with memory, virtually impossible to bend or break. They look fine, I don't mind wearing glasses at all.

I tried bifocals and kept seeing the bloody line in my vision so swapped to varifocals and they are far superior.
