That's true you know. It proves my point. That I think Mock does change you. You are using parts of your brain on a regular basis. I think the neurotransmitters to that part of the brain and the pathways that they use are accelerated as they are used on a regular basis.

Bullshit!

I turn this place on and off like a light switch...as does everyone else in here that "gets it".

Agreed. Normal, well-adjusted adults know better and wouldn't be changed from reading these posts.

I really don't care about anybody else's BMI. That's their business. I am not ashamed of anything. It's difficult to discuss ALL the details in an open forum. I have disclosed as much as I can. There is enough ammunition there for you to play with.

Is your whole family a bunch of fatties? That is almost always due to poor eating and exercise habits, often role-modeled from fat parents. For example, eating a lot of cake and sitting on your fat ass a lot can be learned easily.
For the record, I know some really cool fat people. I think they are fat because they have to have an appetizer with every meal, even at home. They never just have cereal.

aussie took care of her issue. AND she isn't afraid of surgery. I think you people should be more afraid of her can-do attitude. What if she decides to kick your ass? You think an ocean is going to stop her?
Why are you trying to blame your addiction to food on your gall bladder, Aussie? I had my gall bladder removed and so did millions of other people who didn't need surgery to shrink their stomach.
just three weeks ago, the rumor mill started churning that Houston was broke, and now more details are starting to unravel as to how and why the iconic singer may have died with few dollar signs to her name. In January, Radar Online reported that the music maven was in financial ruins and on the verge of bankruptcy, and had even resorted to asking friends for small amounts of cash to get her through.

“Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released. She might be homeless if not for people saving her,” an insider told the entertainment site. “She is broke as a joke. She called someone to ask for $100. It is so sad. She should have Mariah Carey money, and she’s flat broke.”

According to several reports, Sony music mogul Clive Davis, who launched Houston’s career, loaned her more than $1 million last year to assist in the rehabilitation process of getting clean.

Say what? What the fuck for? Gov. Christie is saying all flags should on the day of her burial b/c she was a "cultural icon". Is she the ONLY entertrainer to ever be produced from Jersey? Somehow, I doubt it. I know a lot of people that are gonna be pissed off about this.

Gall Bladder disease has been linked with weight gain. This is because the bile stored from the liver assists in the breaking down of lipids/fats. When that process is compromised the bile that is secreted from the liver is more diluted and not as concentrated as the bile stored in the gall bladder. Usually the weight gain starts in some people who have a genetic predisposition, when a large amount of gall stones start to appear in the gall bladder and the gall bladder's function limited. That is why fatty foods must be avoided when the subject is suffering from gall stones as the fat causes the gall bladder to contract as the gall bladder tries to break down the lipids from the fatty foods by contracting and extreting the concentrated bile. When the stones are present they can be painful and cause biliary colic. After the gall bladder is completely removed this function is no longer available to effectively break down the fats as well as before. Weight gain is not inevitiable but is likely in a large amounts of people who are prone to the weight gain.

Further info, there are actual forums about people putting on weight after a gall bladder operation. If you start struggling with your weight and you are watching what you are eat, going to the gym and the weight is still an issue, it might be gall bladder related.

Her net worth is like $80M. How can she possibly be broke?

I read today that she was gay and Bobby Brown was a beard.

There are a ton of people who abuse prescription meds. Just for the hell of it.

There is no solid evidence that gall bladder disease or gall bladder removal causes weight gain. And it definitely does not cause someone to gain enough weight to make them candidates for bariatric surgery. But if that's what makes you feel better....

Tell your fatty forum friends that walking to StarBucks for a Skinny Latte and lowfat muffin is not going to help them lose weight whether they have a gall bladder or not. They need a real diet and real exercise.

(CNN) -- Pop superstar Whitney Houston was seen ordering and consuming considerable quantities of alcohol at The Beverly Hilton two mornings last week, said a source briefed on her behavior and activity in the days before her death Saturday.

The source told CNN's Don Lemon that Houston ordered the drinks before 10 a.m. last Wednesday and Thursday from the lobby bar and in the pool area.

Guests both days overheard Houston loudly complaining about her drinks, accusing bartenders of "watering down" or "putting too much ice" in them, the source said Wednesday.

The source says other guests expressed concern about Houston's erratic behavior. Her disheveled appearance, including mismatched clothing, suggested to them that she was intoxicated, the source said. The source said Houston was seen jumping in and out of the pool and doing somersaults in the pool area.

Saturday's funeral for legendary pop singer Whitney Houston is expected to be made available for television and web streaming from the New Jersey church where she grew up, Houston's publicist said Wednesday.

I heard on the news this morning that Whitney's family doesn't want to let Bobby Brown attend the funeral. They blame him for her drug and alcohol abuse. And they think he is trying to bet close to the daughter to get money from Whitney's estate.
I read somewhere that it was indeed Bobby Brown who introduced Whitney to the crack pipe.

That may be true but I heard she already had a drug and alcohol problem before they got together. It probably wasn't to difficult to get her to start smoking crack.

Its a slippery slope when both people in a relationship love the crack pipe, in cases like that marital solidarity is a bad thing.
Agreed CN, agreed.

Personal responsibilty? For fuck sake I knew how to say NO by the time I was 1 year old. and by the time I was an adult if I said YES to anything it was on me.

Bobby definitely led her down the brown and white path.
He may have led her, but as Dick said she was old enough to make her own decisions. Whitney knew better and she did drugs anyway. At this point, it's on her. And whoever was writing her the scripts. I bet we have another the doctor killed the celebrity trial like with MJ.
