for days now i have been hearing a radio only in my left ear, it's playing horrible music and never stops. it is making me crazy. since there is NO RADIO on anywhere!
is it transmissions from alien planets? i'm getting worried. 
it's not tintinitus. i've had that sometimes after firing range or SCUBA.
so short of jamming a pointy stick in my ear, what can i do??

how will we know we're crazy??

I still have one mercury filling left in my mouth and I still pick up this Boston radio station talk show after 2 am some mornings.
Plus I'm not paranoid, I KNOW everyone is out to get me.

On a sane note Lady Cop, I get that in my ears too, today is a good day, it is annoying. Have you had your thyroid checked? Look around on the internet, it is a symptom of Hyper thyroid. I had the test, but I think there is another test you should have a T-3 or 4. I have had the ringing since December on and off, I need to go back to the Dr.
(stress seems to make it louder)
no ringing..IT'S A RADIO BROADCAST! terrible! i hear the talking and lyrics to awful songs.
I would go get my hearing checked if I were you. That would drive me crazy too.
I hope you find out the source of your broadcast of terrible lyrics.

You aren't crazy.
I used to hear voices and you don't hear them in one ear or the other.
This sounds like a physical problem, do you ever use headphones for music or whatever?
I used to go and see local death metal bands and my ears would be ringing for days afterwards.
Just call it insanity and sing along with the muzak.

it was somehow coming through the vents in my window A/C unit!! i still don't know how. i have to make it stop at the source. hahahahaha

hahaha i was worried the aliens from planet snarfbloxt were trying to control my brain!
