I don't know what it is about dandruff, but it really disgusts me.

There's a guy at work that literally has piles of it on his shoulders and he insists on wearing black t-shirts... wouldn't you think he'd see it in the mirror when he uses the toilet?

It's just flaky skin, what it it about dandruff that people find so repulsive? Does it bother you when you see it?

The Antagonist

I'm a hairdresser - during the 20 years behind my chair I can tell you that it is completely repulsive.

It's not only flaky skin but oily flaky skin. I quit 3 jobs in a barber shop because they allowed haircuts without washing the hair first.

Dandruff and oily hair combined cause your scissors to dull and believe me when I tell you, you cannot get that shit out of your comb no matter how hard you scrub it and no matter what disenfectant you use. I would thow the combs away even when those people did wash their hair.

There's a stink to it too.

Using a solution of water and white vinegar to rinse the hair after it's shampooed and before you condition it helps tremendously.
You put about a 1 part vinegar and 3 parts or 4 parts water and just keep that bottle in the bathroom and rinse it through each wash.

I would make an anonymous note of that vinegar trick and just leave it on his desk.

If it's psoriasis - he needs medication but the vinegar and water solution DOES help with that too.

Yes, it bothers me when I see it & quite frankly it would be a deal breaker if someone I was interested in getting closer to had it !

Same here duchess.

I could never be a hairdresser. I don't even like it when I see a hair somewhere and don't know who it belongs to.......the disgust factor is too high.

Total deal breaker. Bad breath and nasty teeth are as well.

Lumpy, mix up a batch of Ant's potion and leave it on his desk with instructions on how to use it. I wouldn't leave it up to him to do it as he obviouly hasn't done anything about it so far.

LuMPyPussy

I asked one of his co-workers that sits in his area about it and she says she's flat out told him he's got a problem... it's even all over his fucking chair, for god's sake!

He said he's tried everything. Yeesh.
No way would I live with that if it were me. Put the stuff on his desk.

Is he married? GF?

The Antagonist

I guarantee you he did not try the vinegar and water - not too many people know about that as it's an "old fashioned" type of remedy.

It won't cure psoriasis but it will help - a lot. He sounds like he has psoriasis and not simple dandruff if it's all over the chair like that.

He leaves flakes of himself behind wherever he goes !...I couldn't let someone like that into my home::laugh:: No fuckin' way.

Yes, it's fucking gross.

It's not 'just' dead flaky skin... it's nasty oily dead skin.

Buy him some Head and Shoulders and leave it on his desk.
