An Indian man with seven daughters has not bathed or brushed his teeth in 35 years, Agence France-Presse reported.

Kailash ⿿Kalau⿝ Singh, 63, told the Hindustan Times he will bathe when his nation⿿s troubles are over, but not everyone is buying that story.

According to one person, Singh⿿s ritual is an attempt to guarantee his next offspring will be a male heir.

⿿A seer once told Kalau that if he does not take a bath, he would be blessed with a male child,⿝ a man named Madhusudan told the newspaper.

Each evening, Singh takes a ⿿fire bath⿝ to rid himself of germs. A fire bath consists of praying to the Lord Shiva next to a bonfire and smoking marijuana.
