I think someone overslept this morning. I usually see him checking in as he is preparing for his work day but not this morning. Oversleeping on a day you have to be up early is a seriously crappy way to start your day.
Blowing-kisses

You can never go wrong with the music stylings of John Mayer.
I dunno, he doesn't exactly do it for me. I can see the talent, I can understand why others dig the guy...it just isn't there.
You've got to feel it, my brother.
Get lost in his music.

You don't simply listen to it. His music isn't casual enough.
You experience it.
Oh I get there's amazing talent there, it's just the tone and timbre of his voice doesn't resonate. Occasionally that happens with me, Billy Corrigan of Smashing Pumpkins is another one. I see the talent, I understand the reasoning, but the voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I don't care for John Mayer, the way he looks is even annoying. But he always has some hot celebrity girlfriend so what do I know.

I used to think he was gay but he's always with gorgeous women so....

I don't really care for his music, it's a little too fairy-ish for me.

I think the same thing about Bruce Springsteen. I just find the sound of his voice annoying for some reason.
Well, he's no James Blunt or Michael Bolton.

I'm almost the only one in here that likes Bruce but that won't keep me from posting Merry Christmas, baby again this upcoming holiday season.

me too!! YAY Boss!
Bruce is hit or miss with me, there are a couple of his I really dig, others not so much. Gotta respect the staying power though.

One of my all time favorites, and a nod to the op, is Harry Nilsson. Dude's voice was absolutely amazing with songwriting skills to match. Plus he could outparty the entire world, so there's that.

LadyCop, you're supposed to be the voice of reason.

What happened here?

OBK: Are you being serious about James Blunt? I's hard to know when people talk about him, as most make fun of his girlish voice.

I think he's joking, but then again I can actually see him enjoying it while he's having his pie and coffee in the morning.
Coupling him with Michael Bolton should have been the 'tell', but you know what?
By default, I saw a Michael Bolton concert at the Del Mar Fair grounds a few years back and he was surprisingly entertaining.

Now all I've got to do is get on board with Billy Joel and I must then decisively turn in my man card.

By, 'pie' you mean. . . ?
I absolutely cannot stand John Mayer.

He sounds like a hamster on helium.
