Just an idea, but possibly one to kind of mull over. Would a trading/buying/selling forum work here? Possibly you come across an on-line bargain you want others here to know about?
Maybe you've got something you wouldn't mind selling you think others here would like first crack at?
Something along those lines. Maybe feature the sub-forum right above the "we don't give a shit..." forum.

Yeah, you'd think. But, no, not the case, this time.
Just thinking most of us are kind of like-minded and perhaps there is something just odd enough about a trinket or whatnot you may own that instead of throwing it up on eBay or Craig's list, you might offer it here first.
Pass or play, no big deal.
It would also be fodder for possible mocking, depending on the item, I suppose.
It would be sort of cool if you found something interesting that is being offered somewhere else that is really a bargain. It could be shared here even though you would have to vested or financial gain in doing so.
