We need to talk about the nog.

You fuckers can't vote for him again. I know a bunch of you bastards did last time because of this:

I know, I know, I know, you blame the electors from your state. The party that wins the popular vote gets all the electors (I think there may be an exception, but that's basically how it works). If you retards can get over yourselves, please consider voting for the Republican this time. I don't throw my vote away on the Libertarian candidate in state and federal elections, just local ones, so don't write in some stupid shit because you think you are being clever. It isn't clever. It's retarded.

Why not the nog? A few reasons to consider:

Mexico isn't that far away. It is from you Yankees, but it isn't far enough away from the Dirty Souf and Liberal Lands (Cali, Oregon, not sure about New Mexico). There is some scary shit going on there. We don't seem to notice because it is an election year...but shouldn't we be doing something besides supplying them with guns? I think we should maybe be doing something. I feel a little guilty every time they pile up more bodies.

He fucked up the Middle East. The whole damn Middle East. We used to scare the fuck out of them, now they spit in our face and kill our boys. That may be far away from you, too, but it isn't that far from here. We should maybe think about doing something about that, too.

He can't even control the teachers from his 'hood in Chicago. I can't blame them for striking. Who wants to be evaluated by scores from the poor schools? They don't evaluate the parents who can't provide for their own kids, why are they trying to fuck the teachers on that? I think maybe the kids did the math and figured out they couldn't ALL be president at the same time. See if they care now... I read they were keeping the school lunch program going during the strike. That's sad they can't count on the parents to take care of that. We ARE doing something about THAT. We are providing a breeding ground for more of them.

Don't vote for the Dems again. They are doing a shitty job. It's totally fine with me if you vote Republican and lie about it to your friends. There is no possible way they can find out...
off topic, but

it's good to see you Cracker! so many members will be delighted! i know i am!

here is a subversive smiley for you---->

What White Devil said. (yeah, I'm lazy)
Hi Cracker.

Okay, lets. Relax & get comfortable, I'd even make you a sammich. No living soul besides you has ever heard those words leave my lips.
The repub is just Obama 2.0 (now available in Vanilla!), and the dude's a straight politician from head to toe. Obama is the devil I know. Romney's the devil you'll never see coming. Why? He changes positions more often than a porn star. What comes out his mouth one day is not what comes out it the next.
Is that to say Obama is in any way a good pres, or the savior America needs? Not at all. They're both walking, talking pieces of shit. Only respectable thing to do this election is vote indy, Gary Johnson is where it's at I think.

I've never heard of him.
I see many people around here voting for the white nigger just so the marxist devil socialist prick gets out of the white house before he grabs a paintbrush and starts painting everything pink and orange.

We are so screwed.
Good to see you Cracker!
It's about fucking time, bitch.

Me either and therein lies the problem. Fuck our two party system. I'm going to read up on Gary but I would feel like I was throwing my vote away. Sucks.

hah

Somebody has to be a super power. If it isn't us, it's going to have to be the fucking Chinese. If they keep fucking with Japan we are going to have to step in there. Watch and see, something going on in the Pacific...

People complain about us being all over the world and how the world doesn't want us. The good people do want us, the ones living without basic freedom. It's easier to forget we are the beacon of freedom for the world because the nog (and Bill, sorry Duchess, still blame him for the housing market collapse, like 12 Mexicans are better off buying than renting...) fucked our economy. The world still needs us. Or maybe we should just let them all rot. Fuck em, bring on the mass graves...

We should just shine it like we are doing to Mexico (and pissing off Canada with that Keystone thing even though we get 80% of our imported oil from there). Great time to cut the military, btw. Thank Gawd half the military is Southern so my ass will be covered. The rest of you peace lovers are on your own.

I didn't even mention the Jews. Can Obama even pretend anymore that he doesn't loathe Jews even though he is a big ass Jew by birth? Like the Jews are offended. So what if blacks don't like you? It means you are doing something right or you have good hair.

The only excuse I hear people making in defense of the nog is Obamacare. My health insurance premiums doubled this year with less coverage. They have been steadily climbing because the industry knows we are going to have to start sharing our good doctor's offices with lazy fuckers. If I wanted to catch ringworm waiting for my flu shot I would get a free shot at a clinic downtown.
Now that is a straight dose of Cracker right there.
I agree that backing out of world affairs (while it holds some appeal) isn't an option. That's always been one of my sticking points with Ron Paul. An absence of power would leave a void that would be filled.

I disagree about the economy. If Clinton started the housing bubble, George W. had 8 years to recognize it and deal with it but instead it ballooned under his watch. I remember when Bush signed TARP--he looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

As far as the Jews, fuck them. They want the U.S. to set a red line but they haven't even set a red line on Iran. What benefit is it to us to announce our timelines for military action? We might as well publish an invitation to the party FFS.

As far as Romney goes, I have yet to get a sense from him that he's the guy that has a solid plan (not to say that Obama does either). I almost wish the ticket were reversed and Paul Ryan was the candidate. At least with him, you know firmly where he stands. Romney...not so much. He's going to repeal Obama care. Oh wait, but there are parts of it that are good so we'll keep those. We're going to increase military spending, reduce the deficit, fix medicare...blah, blah, blah. How? I'm looking forward to the debates; maybe I'll get a better sense of him but right now, he's just a talking head without much substance as far as I'm concerned.

I hate them all. I'm pretty sure some independent candidate would be a better choice.

Had Ron Paul been on the ticket, he would have gotten my vote. Gary's pretty much the next best thing, but yeah...you don't hear much about him, if anything at all. As for throwing your vote away, I read somewhere something that makes perfect sense, that being that if you continue to vote Dem/Rep, regardless of the 'why', you're simply communicating to them that it's ok to carry on with business as usual. Don't expect to see a 3rd party candidate in the big chair in my lifetime, but if those 3rd parties can pull enough votes away from the 2 big ones, they'll both realize that some shit needs to change. Or my prediction about not seeing a 3rd partier in office may just be proven wrong.

Maybe you read it here? I agree with it myself.

Definitely not. While I like their angle, the whole "Let's just not vote" thing will never work. I think everyone should vote, and rather than listen to the bullshit line about "throwing away your vote," actually vote your conscience. I don't think anyone in their right mind can actually vote for either of the two clowns the media puts on the stage with a belief that one or the other is going to be the savior. It all boils down to the lesser of two evils, but the lesser of two evils is still evil. Regardless of whether your candidate of CHOICE will win (Gary Johnson will not), make your vote count for someone with principles, with ideals, with a plan to fix what's broken here. More and more people are waking up to the state of things here and realizing it's caused by the massive corporate and banker influence on the 2 party political system. Given time, either the 3rd party will finally win and we'll see tangible change, or the 2 major parties will see what colossal cunts they've been and realize that their hold on power will be severely diminished unless they begin making big big changes to their own platforms and practicing what they preach rather than pandering to whatever group they happen to be speaking in front of at any given time.
I can't say I've kept up with the site but I registered at www.americanselect.org.

While I agree with some of the complaints by the “No Vote Party”, I also don’t believe that refraining from voting is a rational solution. The electoral delegates vote according to majority of votes, not by the volume of votes. Imo, fewer people voting signifies apathy and only gives the current parties more power to continue as-is.

I understand the opinion that a vote for Ron Paul or any Independent candidate is a “throw away” for 2012 because we’re either getting Obama or Romney, period. However, imo, a vote for another candidate is as valid as voting for what one considers to be the lesser of two evils; depends on the voter's priority. Voting for Paul, or Johnson, or someone else in whom one truly believes is a credible choice for voters who consider changing/expanding the current heavily financed 2-party dominated system a top priority (a priority which is equal to or greater than Obama vs. Romney for the next 4 years). I don’t see such a vote as a “throw away” in that context.

I'm not thrilled about any option, frankly, and going through a process of elimination to make the final voting decision with a list of pros/cons for each candidate on what I consider to be priority issues. While Ron Paul tops my list when it comes to number of favorable positions, my level of concern and/or uncertainty on those aspects of his platform which I don't currently support is high enough that I'm currently leaning towards the Republicans. Like others, I'll be watching the October debates closely.

I am hopeful that by 2020 there will be valid voter options outside of the current 2-party standards. (Imo, Ron Paul and his supporters have made an impact to get the ball rolling in that direction during this election cycle.) All JMO...

Amen. I need to do more research on the independent candidates this election because I have to believe there's at least one out there whose platform more closely matches my beliefs/philosophies.

I think I've referred to it as a "throw away" vote in the past but I agree that it really isn't. It's a statement against the Republocrats.

ETA: I just checked in to that americanselect.org website and apparently they gave up for 2012. Here's a related story if anyone is interested.
