We had these huge Grand Final games here in Australia, on Saturday it was Australian Rules Football, on Sunday it was Rugby League. I hate sports with passion. We went out for fish and chips on Saturday and the place was like a ghost town it was great. I got a car space really close and got served straight away. Sunday was toy shopping got a birthday coming up.
We had a shocking murder here in Australia that happened to a young 29 year old Irish woman. She was walking home from the pub and this predator approached her and took her and killed her. It was captured on CCTV. There was a huge 'march for Jill' on Saturday in which tens of thousands marched for her. It's amazing her death has shaken this nation, it is very similar to Princess Diana dying. Many people have been crying and laying tributes.

I don't think I could do the dating scene ever again. Not only doesn't it not interest me but it seems like a lot of trouble to go through.
I wouldn't ever pay for sex but I think I understand the appeal of doing so. I "get" the business aspect of it, you pay for what you want, get it and move on without having to go through dinner, a movie & making small talk. *yawn*
There's only one thing that gets my attention these days, and that's the real deal.
Friday night I went to see a Metallica tribute band. Saturday, my oldest went to homecoming and when he got home, I went to see a local cover band and yesterday I took mg kids to see Hotel Transylvania. Very busy, and fun, weekend!
We went to the YMCA's family fun night Friday evening. Games, face painting, prizes (4 year old heaven). Saturday morning Soccer, made crock pot applesauce, painted pumpkins with the kid and cleaned the house. Sunday involved more cleaning, laundry, and getting out the Halloween/Fall decor. The least busy weekend we have all October.
Not too busy actually. I made a pot of chili last night. Also cleaned up around the patio a bit... getting ready to shut things down for the season. Cleaned out the fire pit (also around the patio) and stacked some wood around it... now that the nights are cool I'll be spending some time there! I think I enjoy it a little more actually... less buggy and sitting at the fire with wine and cigar is very relaxing.
It was a pretty quiet weekend. My husband was out of town; I spent most of the time shuffling kids around and watching football on Sunday.
I've got to get some stuff done today. Taxes. Blurg.
Didn't do anything this weekend. Next weekend I'm attending an all day BBQ on Saturday from 1pm-Midnight.
My weekend pretty much sucked because it rained all weekend.
Blah.
Mine has been a fucking nightmare but is all resolved now, plus i am drunk and have weed and valium, it all worked out in the end.
