It wouldn't necessarily be a "presidential" thing to do (allowing yourself to be blackmailed--no pun intended) but I wonder how it would play with voters. Donald Trump's big "announcement" dropped Wednesday, when the real estate mogul offered $5 million for President Barack Obama to reveal his college transcripts and passport application. Trump, however, refuses to show his own records.
The Guardian's Adam Gabbatt contacted Trump's office on Wednesday to ask for Trump's college transcripts and passport records, to which an executive at the company responded that the newspaper's request was "stupid."

I have mixed feelings. Donald is a drama hag so it would be pretty cool to see something put out there that may shut him up but this is the POTUS who has been vetted up one side & down the other. If there was something nefarious to be found Bill & Hillary would have found it when she was running against him.

Will it make a difference in getting elected? I doubt it. Those voters that really would love to see that information aren't going to vote for him, regardless.
IMO, he has nothing to gain, and (if he was born in Kenya) everything to lose.
The only people I know of who still question his birthplace are the weirdos on the right.

My thought wasn't that releasing the records would make a bit of difference to the doubters; instead I wonder if people would think it was cool that he did that for charity while simultaneously making Donald look like an even bigger idiot. I personally would kind of enjoy that.
The liberals are the ones that said "Oh its probably about the divorce papers Barrys wife had drawn up years ago" "nothing to see here. Then he comes out with that. I never knew about the divorce thing, it kinda cracked me up. This election has really shown me what whine assed bitches they ALL are running this country.

I wouldn't mind seeing Donald look like an idiot. Obviously the Republicans still believe he has skeletons in the closet, and they're willing to pay to be appeased.
