So here I sit thinking about the upcoming election and had a thought. I have no problem with anyone collecting or being a bloodsucker in the welfare system voting, but I think those people should only be permitted to vote for politicians and not the issues that will tax me in the end.

For instance, my neighbor is one of those fucking unicorn, organic eating, doesn't work because the universe will provide for her retards. Yet, she comes over and tells me how she is voting "yes" on all this bullshit that if passed, will raise my taxes; something she doesn't have to pay because she lives with her mother. I was beyond bitchy after this conversation.

Am I wrong? ? ? Because it is still pissing me off when I think about it. You know, when you go to bed thinking about bullshit and can't sleep. That's what I am thinking about it.

Sounds like they need God.........Just fill out a ton of cards with their address on it describing the need for more home visits by Gods messengers spreading "The word"

I don't think you're wrong. I'm generally a liberal but I've reached my limit. Not only have I voted for local measures that increased our property taxes to help the schools, we donate tons of money to our local PTA's to help fund programs.

I've said this before but I chaired school programs where MANY parents didn't give even a dime for their kids to attend. So those of us that "have" basically paid the full cost of those that don't.

47% of the population contributes nothing. Fuck that.

Or you could fill out a bunch of cards for a home visit by an army, navy, air force or marine recruiter. It may even ask what is a good time to visit so you could schedule "the veiwing" Then sit back and watch.

Many of you watched the video of the black woman saying vote for Obama, he gives us all free cell phones. I really don't want those people having a say in my future when they can't even manage their own life.

That is what pisses me off! My neighbors daughter has one and an IPHONE! WTF.....

Don't even get me started on this subject! The 1 point of contention the Hubby and I have is that his daughter abuses the hell out of the system.

She's got the Free phone, housing, daycare (which she drops her kids at off for 12 hours a day whether she's working or not), food stamps, Medicaid, you name it, she gets it. Then her & her husband go out and buy video games, Chinese food, and a ton of other crap. They never pay their bills, when they get a shut off notice, they just go to the town welfare and whine that they have kids.

They used to hit us up for money all the time, too, saying the babies needed diapers, medicine, etc. I finally convinced my hubby that when they ask for money for something, to go buy the item for them instead. Funny, we only had to 'buy' diapers for them once-they stopped asking for money after that (guess they really didn't need the diapers to badly).

I make a lot of 'extra food' for my neighbor. He's 84 years young and gets all of $38.00 a month in food stamps. I can't stand the thought of him eating Ramen all the time, so I send over left overs all the time (they're not really left overs, but he won't take the food unless I tell him that it's leftover stuff my kids won't eat)

My Step Daughter gets $600.00 a month in food stamps & buys candy & Soda with it, then goes to the food pantry each week to get meats and shit.

Go Figure.....

Wow, I really loved your reply! I also respect the fact that you assist your neighbor! That is admirable!

It is saddening when someone (anyone) takes advantage of a system that is designed to help you get back on your feet; rather than sustain yourself for a lifetime. I do not understand the principle thought of this thinking, but I just get a simple word in my head "lazy." Not every one in the system, but the majority are just plain enabled.

This PISSED off my neighbor bigtime when I posted this on facebook. I fucking owned her ass when she tried to go off about it. So I'll post it here !
