NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV)-

A Nashville man who made a dramatic deathbed murder confession, only to ultimately survive, has been found guilty following an emotional trial. "In July 1995, the body of Joyce Goodener was discovered in a Nashville, Tennessee home. She had been beaten to death with a cinder block, stabbed in the neck repeatedly and set on fire. (investigators never released how the victim was murdered) Yet, the inmate had all the information and had always been a "person of interest" in this crime!

And for more than a decade, her killer was never found."

James Washington was sentenced today for that crime, and automatic life sentence of a minimum of 51 years for this crime.

NEW STORY VIA WSMV<--- News video is pretty decent.

Ha! Sucked in. Love it! Thanks for that one. I love a story with a happy ending.
Hitchcock did a story abbout a guy scheduled for execution who wrote a letter to the editor lambasting the DA's gross incompetence for framong him for a murder he didn't commit while he had actually committed three others. He was saved at the last minute by testimony.
I laughed out loud, dufus loooool
Oh, oops!! Haha!
