I'm flying to Phoenix early tomorrow morning for my older sister's wedding. I hate shopping, but gotta find a fitted semi-formal suit and blouse later today. Psyching up for that retail adventure...

Can't wait to see my family and hold my brand new great-niece; best New Year's Eve possible.

Spending New Year's night with my friend in Prescott Valley. She and her husband retired there over a year ago; it'll be my first time to see their house. Looking forward to the little Arizona road trip and catching up with them.

No resolutions for 2013 here, other than to keep laughing as much as possible and keep my head above water.

Any plans or resolutions on your New Year's agenda?
Working tomorrow then having munchies with all the kids. Movies and watching the ball drop. Nothing too exciting.
Saw a bumper sticker the other day, "Wag More. Bark Less".

Seems like sage advice for 2013.
I'm heading to my place on the private lake. My friends owns a bar that adjoins the private property and he always has a great new years eve party there. So once again the OL and I are heading out for a two day party, hahahaha.
Everyone have a happy and safe new year's eve/day. See yall when I get back.
I'm going out with friends to Saratoga First Night.

Thanks to 99.5 WRVE and my brother.

No taxpayer dollars were harmed in the future enjoyment of NYE.
I want to find Ensure in a fruit flavor; milk products are beginning to cause bloating.
My family coming tonight for Fiesta Bowl on 3 Jan. There is a ticket for me but i am going to stay home as my family is afraid i might get trampled if our team wins. Two of my grandkids are staying home with me so we might go swimming in heated pool at my friend's
place. I made a ton of candy, but NYE's we will have lobster and steak at home and next day is Birthday of one of the grandkids so guess i will bake a cake (from a box) or run to Basha's and get ready made cake.

A late dinner at home with friends. There will be no party hats, bells or whistles. There will be a half dozen of us drinking beer/wine, eating and having some laughs.

I don't make New Years resolutions.

I can't be sure but I think she's fuckin' with us. hah
I'll be on a boat.....
Earlyish dinner with friends and in laws, probably home by 10:30 and she will be in bed by 11. I'll probably head to downtown Delray Beach and meet some of my friends, taking a cab.
Heading up to our cabin on the 2nd. Considering my husband was restricted by forest service requirements (size, even the color of the cabin), I think he did a great job with the remodel. It was a shack until he started a couple of years ago and he basically did everything long distance/on line.

The front. The addition of a much bigger front deck was awesome. We also added a big back deck so you can have either sun or shade any time of day.

The kitchen. We used to have plastic cabinetry. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Very Nice, hope you get some rain soon or the lake will be a mud puddle
Looks real nice User. Is there snow this time of year?

Definitely snow. There's a ski resort about 20 minutes away and we're getting a lot of rain/snow this year.

The lake actually gets drained in the winter so it will be a little puddle.
He did an excellent job with the remodel user; looks like a perfect getaway. Bet it's gorgeous with snow too.

You, me, there. There's never enough time but I'd really like to make that happen.

ETA: I don't mean that in a sexual way or anything. hah
I didn't take it the wrong way. I know that I'm not your type. I don't vibrate.

Still, I don't completely trust your motives. My mental picture of us out in the woods (you're the one in the hat);

I'm wise to your cold-hearted ways...
Have a happy and safe New Year's celebration all!
