Are we supposed to feel sorry for those who are too stupid to live?
I live several hundred miles away from where this storm dumped so much snow. I knew it was coming many days before it arrived so I'm certain their local newscasts were yammering about it well in advance of its arrival and yet there are those blaming everyone but themselves for being caught in this predicament.

I don't feel sorry for them. Unless its an emergency, stay home.
I've got a buddy who lives in Manhattan. For 2 days leading up to the storm, thats pretty much what he was posting about on Facewank, predicting major catastrophes and such. Pretty much just being a fucking drama queen. I think they got about 12".
I called him on his bullshit before the storm. "Dude, relax... in Idaho, we call that shit "winter".
He did the same thing for the hurricane a few months back. Again, I said..."People that live by the ocean have to expect to get wet every once in awhile"
I dont think him, or the rest of his NYC brethren on Facewank think much about my lack of sympathy. Big city people are generally a bunch of pussies when it comes to weather.
I saw firsthand the devastation caused by the hurricane Kid as we had a CAT team down there. I spoke with people that lost everything. It was more than city people being pussies.
Thats why you have insurance, Ramsey..and if you live by the fucking ocean, and dont have the appropriate insurance, then I really dont feel to sorry for ya.

The fact that some people went out when they were under mandatory orders to stay off the road pisses me off (and I'd be really pissed if I lived in the affected areas). It slows everything down while resources are directed towards helping those idiots who block the roads and slow the clearing process.
Fuck them. Let them freeze.
