*shudders*

I'd need to see the dysfunctional, lil smokie to be sure but the age is definitely wrong.

I think all Asian men have little peckers though. Not that I'm generalizing or anything.
When I'm 80, I might look like this...

And, username will probably still look good and still believe that it's 2012...
hah That old lady pic is hilarious!
It's hard to imagine a person 80 yrs old holding a bong but they were 30 when the hippies just started they called them beatnicks then. Or she thinks its a "smoothy " making machine.
I can’t get past that giant raccoon on her shirt.
Jhoon Rhee is a funny guy, once in Korea he found a 109 yr old man taking a bath in the middle of winter in the river, he had cut a hole in the ice by the shore. He asked what the hell he was doing in there. The old man said he was bathing so he was clean when he visited his Mother who was 135. Jhoon wants to live till he is 136 yrs old and he may just make it.
Rhee looks incredible at 80 years old, martial arts does a body good.

I think he was the Taekwondo master who was friends with Bruce Lee; teaching each other from Chinese and Korean martial arts which they then fused into their moves? I didn't know anything else about Rhee or what he looks like before this thread, he seems like a really interesting guy.

I sure wouldn't want live to 136, but really admire people that have that much zest for life. Hope he achieves his goal.
This woman just passed away (it was in the paper this morning)....

Is earning a black belt on your life list? Then this elderly woman in San Francisco just might be your ultimate hero.

Just two years before her 100th birthday, Sensei Keiko Fukuda has become the first woman to achieve a tenth-degree black belt-the highest rank in the martial art and combat sport Judo. Fukuda is now one of only four living people who've earned the tenth-degree (or dan) black belt. To put the accomplishment into better perspective, throughout history, only sixteen people have ever achieved this honor.

I like stories like that in regards to the elderly. I think it's very cool the way some of them stay active & engaged in life instead of withering away.
Could we stop using the word elderly? I'm a cool old broad !!! cheers

Sure, what would you like to call it? Experienced?

Yes, you ARE a cool old broad.
After 1st degree black belt its all political.
My husband is working towards a black belt. He belongs to a very strict dojo; those fuckers don't just hand them out. He's been going at least 3-4 times a week for probably 9 years and he's green belt, 2nd stripe. Next up is brown.

They also use him as slave labor. He pays for the lessons and in turn, they have him teach classes. It's supposed to solidify his own experience which I suppose it does but he gets a little impatient every now and then teaching 6 year old's kata 1. Smiley_emoticons_slash
I bet he has to pay like 100.00 per belt.

Ha!

One of my son's friends has a black belt from a different dojo (Taekwondo). He earned that in about 3 years and you moved up automatically just by attending. 78 My husband has to take these crazy 6+ hour tests to move to another level.

That's the legitimate way and quite an accomplishment. He has dedication.

Doesn't it interest you? You should know some basic moves. Did you know you can fuck someone up with car keys? Or you can drive the bones in a nose into someones brain with the palm of your hand.

He's always coming within inches of hitting me in the face when he's practicing and I'm anywhere nearby. My only interest now is I don't want a broken nose.

I took it with him for a couple of months. I liked it well enough until it came to the rolls. Fuck if I can comfortably throw myself from a standing position in to a front or backwards roll these days. I couldn't tuck my head well enough so on the backwards rolls especially, I'd get about half way through it and fall to the side like a spastic retard. I'd probably still be doing it if I could have stayed on my feet the whole time but nooooooo.
