Are you the toof fairy at your house?

What's the going rate for a tooth these days? Anyone know?
Haven't experienced that quite yet, but I'm guessing it's going to be a dollar a tooth.
You gotta give like $5 for the first tooth. Then $1 after that.

My booth backed up to another booth and I overheard a Grandmother telling her friend that one of her grandchildren who was having an overnighter at her house had lost a tooth and the toof fairy had left ten bucks. No wonder the kid was so impressed!

I would guess a dollar. It was a quarter for me back in the stone ages.

My uncle put $20 under my cousins pillow when he was drunk...he had to pay him $20 for every tooth after that...hah

And if they're adult teeth, gotta pay a bit more.
My son found a tooth in my desk and tricked my wife into thinking he lost a tooth. This happened last week and he was pissed the tooth was still under the pillow the next day. hah
On more than one occasion, the tooth fairy didn't deliver. The next day...."clearly you didn't check your bed well enough because it has to be there somewhere and oh, btw, the tooth fairy must want you to keep this tooth". 50

Early teeth were a $1 or $2. However, the more teeth they lost, the price went up. The tooth fairy gave my kids $20 for the last tooth they lost. End of an era.

ETA: My jewelry box looks like a bone yard. I don't have every one but I have a lot of them. Can we say hoarder?
I just came across one in my jewelry armoire that Thing 2 lost on 3-3-03. It is so tiny!
Have you ever thought of popping it into your mouth and swallowing it?

Chiclets!
