This story is all over the sports pages this morning. It must have been pretty bad, all the players & spectators look horrified.

A University of Louisville basketball player valiantly spurred on teammates after suffering a gruesome leg fracture that left the bone in his right leg protruding on live TV.

Kevin Ware, 20, said 'don't worry about me, win this thing' after he landed badly from a jump to block a three-point shot during the Louiseville-Duke game on Sunday night.

Teammates and Coach Rick Pinoto were in tears and some vomited as Ware screamed with pain and writhed on the court.

No.

Little Jimmy didn't give a fuck.

It really is a reading comprehension thing, isn't it?
Ick. No thanks. If they played it on the news, I wouldn't watch.
Unfortunately I saw it. And then my husbands family rewound and replayed it about 5 times. I wanted to puke. Crazy accident.
I just read a comment on the article...

"With all the cameras in the room, I'm
surprised Al Sharpton isn't out there saying the white man did it..."

*snicker*
6 inches of his leg bone was protruding, I'm sure it hurt like hell, but it's hardly reason for everyone to start crying and puking all over each other.
Sally, your compassion never ceases to amaze me.
Basketballs Joe Thiesman. Dangling broken legs are ugly.
I have compassion, I'm sure the guy was in a hell of a lot of pain. I just wouldn't say it was horrific and start a stupid thread about it.

Now Ramsey is going to give you a lecture about starting threads.
Wanna see the video?
Yes, I suppose I could look it up myself but it would be easier if you did it.
Great! Ask ESAD he likes that grossed out stuff.
