Please google "PII" or "Personally Identifiable Information."

The Internet has made it easier than ever to collect PII. Individuals or entities are able to use PII for a wide variety of things ranging from the illegal (Identity theft or stalking) to the legal (marketing & sales)

In response to this, many web site privacy policies specifically tell their visitors about the collection of PII, and lawmakers have enacted a series of legislation to limit / control how PII is accessed & distributed.

If you own a website, you really need to pay attention to this. There's also the international aspect. Several counties other than the US have strict laws about PII too. And, if you're on the www, you can have visitors from different countries.

That is so true. A few things my parents have taught me that I use to this day are you can't buy class and don't brag. People that feel the need to brag about what they have suffer from low self esteem. And usually people that are well to do, DO NOT go around bragging about it. My parents taught me to judge people by what is in their heart, not how much money they have, the color of their skin, their religion or any of that crap.
