To those of you thinking about going to Lisa's benefit today, GO!
Lisa deserves it. Be alert. Listen. Write down anything you hear (nonchalantly) and tell all of us who aren't able to be there! Taking pictures wouldn't seem off-key. I'm sure family and friends will be doing it.
Please post pics, take notes of everything so you guys can report back to us and maybe if you guys say "Are you my nigga?" and they say yes..thats the code.. LOL Sorry, I'm states away!

Toledo Native your posts literally crack me up because I have much of the same thoughts....I too, knew how to spell blood with my hands and I definitely had zero gang affiliation, but we sure thought we were cool!
btw, sorry to be so MIA, but it's all I can do to keep up with the thread. It's midterm week and my teachers have slammed us with a ton of work. I wonder how far into nursing school lisa was? maybe just doing pre-req's? I couldn't imagine partying all the time too, because let me tell ya, this shit ain't easy niggaz.

I was looking a toledo schools and noticed that bowser high school covers from the toledo south side inner city all the way down to the really nice homes on the river across from the country club. looks like At one point the southside inner city had it's own school seperate from bowser but I'm guessing either it was closed to save money for the school board or as storm was saying all the south end was consolidated to bowser in an attempt to give the southend innercity kids a boost by being with the good kids of bowser. btw this isn't a race thing, (there are all races in both the inner city and the nice parts of town) its a values thing. the inner city values (as we have seen over and over on this thread) are far different from "white bread american" values.

yes they redistricted TPS over the last couple of years.... Bowser was once considered the best public high school in TOledo. there are some very nice areas in the south end. the kids that used to go to Libbey- the southend school where all these inner city kids would have gone is now closed. TPS is in a shit ton of trouble though...can't pass levy's, laying off hundreds of teachers, they have no bus service..it's terrible! and I'm not a Toledo HATER, but the schools SUCK!!

I think that I"ve already posted on here that my job has me inneracting with LE quite frequently...and I heard from one of them that there was a very bloody crime scene and that the house didn't look "ransacked" per se, but that it looked like there had been a struggle not only in the kitchen/dining room/living room area, but other parts of the house as well.

Its a very common thing where he in NM. Its very very *latina* or *hispanic*. Straight (not bangin) girls call it Chola, meaning like a gang girl. The first time I saw it in my life was when I lived in Florida and the Cuban and Puerto Rican girls did it. I next saw it in California, and now in NM. White girls who are *down* will do it to.
But to answer your question, its VERY common in hispanic women and even more common among girls (white or hispanic) that run with gangs.

I agree, I don't think she is a "big time" heroin dealer, just she deals it big time, maybe meaning whenever she gets her hands on it. I also remember reading that she showers gifts on these guys, i.e. the minor, AG and her ex, crazy when she should be saving her money for her children that are already here and the ones yet to come, got a feeling she won't stop at 4. Just seems to me she keeps having these kids with every guy she is in a 6 wk. relationship with, who does that, 4 kids and so far at least 3 different fathers. After reading her mother's myspace page I guess she had to really raise herself, the mother speaks all that gangsta speak too, so I do have some empathy for her, but she is an adult now with almost 4 children and she should start acting like one. Nothing uglier or creepier than an old woman with nasty hood tattoos, except old pervy men with the same.
