Hey there.

Ok, so much for never joining a blog!Smiley_emoticons_smile. Never thought I would have time (or enough to say) to be part of a blog forum. But this site has quickly become part of my day. I am a teacher, wife, and mom of three, from the Midwest. I consider myself extremely opinionated, but extremely afraid to say so. I guess you could say that I'm living vicariously through "mock bitches"Smiley_emoticons_smile. So there, I've introduced myself. My next step...I will type a big old "curse word"! (give me time, I'm just starting to feel empowered)!
Ps...I'm also a stay-at-home mom right now, so it goes without saying that I'm over-educated, over-worked, under-paid and under-appreciated. Probably why I am finding myself looking forward to my "check ins" with REAL ADULTS on mock!!!! Bren D

Did you know most retarded children have retarded parents? I looked it up. About 80% of the dumbass kids you have in your classroom are the product of stupid parents. It is called familial retardation. True fact.

Wow- not sure if I'm more creeped out that you actually know that little tidbit- or by the fact you actually looked it up Smiley_emoticons_smile. Btw- you're talking actual intelligence level measured on a scale of assigned IQ, with "retardation" being classified as falling into the lower percentages, right? Essesentially, stupid people breed stupid kids? If you only knew how true that theory works in a real classroom. Do you think it would hurt my job if I announced that statistic at my first parent meeting next year? Heehee.
Thought i'd mention- kids that are socially considered "special needs" (formerly called congenitally retarded) are in a different classification than the above "IQ" labeled" individuals- while low intelligence is certainly linked to hereditary (ie, big bob has a clone), many true special needs are caused by DNA mutations that are often not genetic. Even having two smart parents can't prevent all syndromes.
With that said, I will admit I have wondered how many of the "dull little light bulbs" (low IQ kids in first paragraph) are a result of the shitty enviroment in which they are raised. We both agree that stupid people often breed stupid kids, but is this because of nature or nurture?

No, is that an important prerequisite for this forum? Because, you know, I can look into it. Really. I think I'm addicted.
Zeeeees, I kind of feel like I need to look attractive- like when you go to a Vegas night club and you let your boobs hang out so you'll get picked out of the line to go in soonerSmiley_emoticons_smile. I think cracker might be a bouncer I met once, heehee.

Sweet god almighty!

I'm glad Cracker posted "I looked it up" instead of "I played in traffic, today".

Her kid would be going hungry with dirty diapers!

As to the nature v. nurture thing . . .

If they are born a tard: Nature.

If you keep them AFTER learning they are tards: Nurture.

Seriously . . . I read Susan Smith's blog.

After viewing the Facebook friends of the Ohio murdered couple, I'm staring to think nurture has everything to do with it. A good example might be the character "Tiff". Almost all of her baby's pics have a "gangsta" tags labeled underneath. While most of my friends post baby pics are titled "aaah, look at the cute smile" (nauseating I know), "tiff" proudly declares something like "fuck yah, jr's gonna be a badass nigga like daddy". She is about to spawn baby #4. I know it awful to say, but even if that baby happens to be lucky enough to hit the gene pool jackpot, he/she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of making it past the third grade. That woman would zap the intelligence out of Einstien. Jeeez, that sound's awful. Sorry.

No, but I've been to Ohio and I "get it". That comment completely gives me perspective. I'M SHOWERING NOW. Maybe I'll deep condition and come out at least looking like an inner city Chicago girl.

Familial retardation is a technical term for 70-60 (mild intellectual disability). Dumbfucks (71-90ish) also suffer from this, but without the fancy name. Stupid people raise stupid kids.

I didn't include the organic retardation because that isn't funny. They can't help that shit.
