It may be difficult, but doesn't mean it can't be done. Rip off a long strip, wrap around the neck, rip off another long strip, etc ... It could be done, & probably not that hard to do with certain types of form fitting gloves.
It's the peeling the edge of the tape away from the roll with no finger nails that make it hard. Don't think so? Try for yourself

well, the way I would do it, would be to use the edge of a knife to peel it back.

Why do you feel that way?
One month and no arrests. A bunch of nothing from the monthly update or whatever it was, essentially blaming the victims. Nothing about persons of interest. Not asking the public if they've seen a particular person, please call this number. A crime scene that had to be rich with evidence, cleaned within a day or two. Just don't have a good feeling about the competence of the investigators.

Yes, we're on the same page. I don't LIKE this scenario, but I have to go with what LE released - "not random", "not a robbery" "professional" "drug related". That's really all we have to go on, now, unless something else is released. If this was a professinal hit, then in my mind, the perps wore gloves.

I'll just repost my main point: As I said, that's a really risky chance for someone to take if they don't know who's on the phone & heard the confrontation & a big assumption that that person wouldn't come over or summon authorities. IMO
Would you come forward knowing the possible reprecutions?
Absolutely!!! I was taught to stand up for what is right. This is off topic but last summer I met a friend at a bar in Maumee for drinks after work & a large group of people from the southend showed up there & I knew that there would be trouble. Without fail, when the group was getting ready to leave a fight broke out between some girls which was taken outside at which point someone started shooting a gun. I told the bartender to call the police & they just stood there looking stupid so when they didn't act I DID & everyone was yelling NO at me LOL The cops came but everyone had already taken off, the cops found 20 shell casings in the parking lot. Those assholes fired off atleast 20 rounds into a group of people!!!! I was banned from the bar by the bouncer for calling the police LOL
Moral of the story, I don't like living amongst animals, gutter trash & murderers. There should be more people who "snitch" then maybe people would start thinking twice about what they do. As it is now there are too many people who live in fear of the thugs & I won't be one. There's a saying that goes something like, "If you don't stand for something, you stand for nothing"
Where was that at, Parkway?

I agree with this part. This is the part that's bothering me a lot. And has from the beginning.

Maybe the LE isn't telling all just making residents feel more secure that it wasn't random.I think they know something and just not telling all yet.I am discouraged that an arrest hasn't been made yet but I think they may be buying some more time.

More than likely they used a gun (possibly drugs) to subdue JC. It would be naive at best to think the perps didn't carry a concealed weapon, but they were making a statement and shooting the victims would have been too "mainstream"...again, the more bizarre the method, the stronger the message.

LOL, well not quite like THAT hahahaaaa! Both would have already been subdued, imo
eta ... I could be that Lisa was forced to tie Johnny's hands & feet together?

I don't see what the big joke is, honestly! Anything is possible, actually. There are cases where one person subdued two healthy adults (man & woman) with a gun. They were bound & gagged, & beaten to death. The perp (Joseph Duncan) would have probably gotten away with it, had he not been stupid enough to have one of his kidnapped victims in a Denny's restaurant. You could have never told me that one person was responsible for that slaughter. Two adults, a teenager, two younger children, & two pitbulls were in the house. After finding out, a lone person was responsible, it's made me think twice about a lot of things, I never thought could happen.

Hey, I think 3M company salesmen carry tapeguns. Could just be a turf war at 3M as to what saleman had the UPS account.

It was a story worth telling, and I can totally relate. My younger brother struggled with crack cocaine addiction for many years- and everyone in my family just knew, that if he continued to use drugs, something would happen to him. We stood by him through rehab, but within a few months, he was using crack again.
One day he showed up at my home in a state of shock, and looked like he had lost all color, just totally pale. He told me that just hours before coming to my place, he had a gun to his head, that someone was about to shoot him, and he barely talked him out of it.
Still, this was not enough for him to quit. When he ended up in prison over this addition, I was almost relieved, because I hoped that after doing 2 years, it might be long enough for him to get past the addiction.
But he got out, started hanging back with his old crowd, and went right back to the drugs, and another prison sentence eventually.
Just a couple of years ago, I got that call I prayed would never come, and once I was able to stop screaming, and actually speak, the first thing I asked was " who did this? who killed my brother?"
I was convinced that someone had killed him. And I was wrong.
He died from an overdose of crack cocaine.
But I can totally see, how its easy, to jump to a conclusion, not because of any inside knowledge, other than, you know that this person, is on a dangerous path.
My personal opinion is that Maytee's reaction, was only due to her knowing that her son, had been involved with a lifestyle, and people that could bring him harm and trouble.
I could be wrong, but I truly do not feel that she is involved in this crime.
I LOVE God, but his fan club scares the shit out of me!!!

Let me educate you...Duck Brand Tape Shark Pro Heavy Duty Tape Gun, purchased at Home Depot or Costco. Not unheard of and quite smart to use given the method of killing.
