I am completely bereft at the passing of such an amazing human being. On behalf of Maggot and myself I appreciate all the outpouring expressed in Mock. May I just add that Davie is in fact, spelt Davy.

OK this is odd...when two of the Beatles died, I really did not fret much. But Davy Jones..wow, I was a bit shook. And he was not even my favorite Monkee.
I did read an article about why us Boomers get so upset when one of our teen idols dies. No no information..but they mention it as a reminder that we are getting older. And another door to our youth has closed. The writer said it will be very much the same 40-50 years from now when Justin Bieber or any of the current batch die.
