I don't know what happened during those few minutes but Zimmerman was clearly the aggressor in the beginning. He reported on the 911 call that the kid was running away...what the hell are you supposed to do if someone NOT in uniform is chasing you?

Maybe it is foolish to speculate that Zimmerman brought out his weapon and Trayvon attacked (I'll give you that). Butttttt, if I saw someone start to pull a weapon would I try to tackle them first? Maybe. I've never been in that situation.

Blacks are the biggest percentage of prisoners because they are convicted at a staggering rate, not because they're particularly more "evil" or "criminal" than whites in similar financial, educational, or environmental backgrounds.

I have begun to think about the cultural references that Cracker has raised about this crime. If it's true it takes a village to raise a child then some responsibility must be shared by the black community for perceptions that contributed to Zimmerman's way of thinking.

Okay Dick. I do, in fact, get it. I think everyone posting or reading here is aware that this case hasn't gone to trial. Therefore, it's a suspected crime, a suspected victim, etc... I haven't made up my mind on anything, as I've clearly stated. You stating that my not putting "suspected" before the terms "crime" and "victim" makes you more aware of my true opinion than I is a silly assertion.

So, because you are right that at this time and until/unless a jury determines otherwise, this case is about a "suspected" crime: I will use "suspected" in front of "crime" and "victim" in future posts. Your point is valid about the language.

Dick is a literal man. Personally, my favorite type. His point about "suspected" until this case is ruled by a jury or plea bargain is valid. If I get smacked by Dick when he's right (and he was right about appropriate language in this case), I'll willingly suck it up, as I did. With a smile.
