I just found a blind dog wandering in the road, collarless. She's in my backyard. Poor lil' thing keeps bumping in to everything.

It's chubby and it seems to limp just a tiny bit (or maybe that's just it being tentative) but other than that, it seems okay.

I'll take a pic and post it in awhile.

Can't get the damn thing to drink any water. Her tongue is hanging out but whenever I try to put a bowl up to her mouth she just knocks in to it.

How do you know it's blind?

If you're going by it's bumping into stuff you might be reaching for a human explanation.

Call animal control to come and get it, there are some shitty diseases that can cause a dog to off it's rocker or even become very disoriented and unbalanced.

Not drinking is not a good thing either, distemper,parvo,and rabies are just a few of the things that could be affecting the dog.

As far as the blind part goes, I think the picture tells the story.

She ate a treat but yeah, I can't get her to drink anything. I'm keeping her separate from my dog.

She's been cared for. Her family is probably frantic, at least I like to hope so.

Oh she is cute and does look cared for. Hopefully she is microchipped so her owners can be found.

Maybe her tag just came off, my dog always looses his when he attempts to escape the backyard to hunt for females.

User, you may be able to locate her family by calling the vets in your area. Surely a blind dog would be remembered by them.
