Don't know if I put this in the right section, but just thought I'd let you guys know that me and my brother were in a car accident this morning on our way to the postal exam. Car hit some black ice, spun around a few times, and hit a rock wall. We're both ok, don't know yet if the car can be repaired or its a total loss, cost us an $80 taxi ride from Williamstown, Massachussetts already. Will reschedule another postal exam asap.

What year, make, and model us the car? Did the airbags deploy?
I'm glad you guys were not injured.
The postal service us hiring? I thought the postal service is shrinking in size.

Well at least you have a good excuse for not finding a job this time. You should have faked a head injury which would have bought you more time with you mom, you could have rode on that for at least another two years.
It's still not too late, when your mom isn't looking stick you finger down your throat and puke on the living room carpet, then call 911 complaining of a severe headache and nausea.

glad you and your brother are okay. hope that you aren't too sore tomorrow or anything. the car is replaceable at some point I know it sucks hearing that but if it's not covered by insurance or money is tight it may take some time but make sure to get some rest, again glad you are okay! black ice is a bitch!

2009 Toyota Carolla. And no the airbags didn't deploy. It was my brother's car so at least there is one good thing about the accident.
The postal service may be shrinking, but the volume of mail isn't and so they'll always need mail carriers to deliver it(which is the position I was taking the exam for)

I'm glad that you're okay, Clang.
I think the accident may have been an act of divine intervention. It's possible that God really wants you to come work for him/her instead of the Postmaster General.

Dear Postmaster General,
Sorry I missed my test. I was in a car accident but don't worry, your mail trucks are safe with me, yessire! 100% safe!

You bitch! I wasn't driving the car, I was a passenger in my brother's car. He was also going to take the exam.

The vehicle is probably a total. Tell your brother too bad soooo sad. He will get shit for it from the insurance company.
I could swear I read somewhere the USPS is cutting down on carriers. They want to cut out Saturday delivery. They want to cut the hours the post office is open. I am really surprised they are hiring more carriers.

Yes. Thats why I'm not aspiring to be his corpse. I'm aspiring to be the alive version.
