Clang DOES live in New York.

Funny, huh?

OMG We don't have those coupons, they look good. We used to have these 'shop a docket' which would give you discounts on motels or something like that. But they don't even have that anymore, it used to be on the receipt on the back. I just checked some receipts I have got here and there is nothing.

No shame in using coupons. Most brands have them. And the stores do it too. No shame in using food stamps if you are going through a rough patch. If its your regular MO then you should be ashamed.

Believe it or not I was ashamed to get food stamps for many years until my Mom kept saying "You're barely making enough to live on, go to social services and see if your entitled to food stamps." I'm also glad they made it a food stamp swiper card instead of those paper food stamps then I'd be ashamed to use the food stamps. Seriously, between that, the food pantry, and my Mom's Church friend would often go shopping and bring stuff for us, I've often told me Mom that maybe we had too much food. He reply "Just shut up,say thank you and take it."

But now I'm not ashamed about the food stamps. I'm more ashamed that I drove my parents to bankruptcy by mismanaging my finances and allowing them to lend me money all the while using a bulk of it to eat out at fast food restaurants every night instead of cooking at home. I'm also ashamed that my laziness allowed me to not clean our apartment/take out trash for six months causing our apartment to become a health hazard and almost get evicted months before we were forced to move back home.

I see that. Sorry, aussie. I'm going to have to side with MS on this one.

Sending out resumes, filling out applications, searching job websites, going to job fairs, going on interviews, wallpapering my bedroom with rejection letters, praying and discerning if my career path leads to the priesthood, etc.

believe it or not, a small part of me does want to move back out and be on my own, but right now my lazy, easy way of life side is dominant and tbh I lack the self control, maturity, confidence, self-esteem and time management skills to see that changing in the near future.
