Actually I think that is quite an interesting subject, it is interesting to see how taking a food from one region or culture, and then putting a different spin on it and seeing the result. It can end in disaster, but can also be fantastic...Asian spices and North Atlantic shell fish does work. Creole is another I suppose.

Exploring Northern Spain sounds like a dream. I hope you get to do it. I've always really wanted to visit Cuba, but US/Cuban relations make that dream impossible for me - someday, maybe. I have a few scuba-diving friends in Germany who've dived and explored Cuba for extended holidays; they love it (and love to rub it in too - bastards).

I think that you can go to Cuba via Canada, but there is some risk involved. Actually, a friend of mine in London, well funnily enough he is in Barcelona working now - anyway he lost the opportunity to work at the Pentagon (US citizen) because they found out he had been to Cuba.

There are plenty of other places you can go, Venezuela can be fun - they pretend not to love the US but then all drive pick up trucks and baseball is their number 1 sport - very confused people, amazing food and stunning women.

I read about that the other day. Jack Daniels did the same thing several years back. That's when my friend Kurt and I switched exclusively to Makers.

Honestly, these days I get wasted from just a couple of Maker's rocks and pretty much only drink them when I'm hanging out with Kurt and his wife.

But, I'm having company tomorrow night and just picked up some Vodka and Cranberry Juice. A couple of Cape Cods = just the right buzz.

I don't like drunk, it takes away control.............took me a bunch of years to figure that out. I'm happy now though and sometimes like a good shot of J.D.

A 60-year-old Idaho man has been charged with simple assault for allegedly slapping an infant aboard an Atlanta-bound flight.

In an affidavit filed in U.S. District Court, FBI special agent Daron Cheney says Joe Rickey Hundley, of Hayden Idaho, slapped the 2-year-old boy during a Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis on Feb. 8.

The child's mother, 33-year-old Jessica Bennett, of Minneapolis, told authorities the boy was crying as the plane prepared for landing. Bennett says Hundley was sitting next to her and slapped the boy in his face, causing a scratch under his right eye. She says Hundley used a racial epithet while demanding her to quiet the boy.

Hundley "told her to shut that ('N word') baby up," Cheney said in the affidavit. "Ms. Bennett received assistance from several people on the plane, including male passenger Todd Wooten." Cheney said.

Wooten was seated rows in front of Bennett and said he came to help after he heard derogatory language being used behind him, according to court documents. Bennett said the infant began crying louder after he was slapped.

District attorneys officials say Hundley was not taken into custody and it is unclear when the case will go to court.

"We think that it is important to let the case develop, and we'll see how it all comes out," Hundley's attorney Marcia Shein said Friday.

This little fellow we don't know what his problem was, teething, tired, hungry, bored who knows the little soul. Some people on planes despise children, so maybe we need a children region on a plane and a quiet region up front possibly for grouchy farts If he used the slang word N on this mother well he's a crude thug. Hope it works out well for the mother and child.
