I am dead serious when I say he is not good at what he does. I don't feel he has a clue as to what a good interviewer is. He never shuts up. I could do a better job than him. I have no idea what CNN sees in him & I sometimes can't believe that no one has ever hauled off & POW right in the kisser. I don't have one single gracious thing to say about him.

I just looked at a $1.1 million dollar home whose only redeeming quality was a massive walk-in closet. It had no charm, no personality, no wow features at all. It was pitiful.

The 'burbs of Baltimore. It's Ray Lewis' house. I get that taste is subjective...and then there's retarded.

Is Baltimore as rough as it was portrayed in the TV show The Wire?

Are you heading through Baltimore on your way to New Jersey for the big trial that's starting today?

hah

Like most places it depends on where you go. I've never had any problems there. I tend to hangout mostly around the Inner Harbor area when I'm there.

Do they do get good crab in the inner harbour area?

Lol.

I'm not hugely keen on crab myself actually, if you can eat lobster why bother with their brown hairy arsed cousins? I've seen those restaurants over there where they just pour a tonne of hot seafood straight onto the table and people sit around the table with big fucking bibs and hammers. Urgh! I would be like “can I at least have a plate and some cutlery please?”.

Got the crap scared outta me by a possum in my garage this morning.

Freaky looking thing bolted behind a bunch of junk when I opened the door and won't come out no matter what I do (I'm armed with a broom handle).

Crafty little bastard. Had too much trash to fit in the bin this week, so there was a double bagged bit of garbage right by the garage door. The possum pushed in a vent screen at the bottom of the door, got in, and strewn garbage all over the junk piles.

I taped the screen back on so no other ones get in, but now the possum is trapped inside and I've got a lot more stuff to load in there this week. Hopefully, he'll run out when the junk guys start clearing out the garage in a few days. Til then, I'm hoping he just keeps playing possum and doesn't try to attack my feet or anything. Nowhy

Pain in the butt.

Can you tempt him outside with some food?

I received a thank you note in the mail yesterday from my sister. She thanked me for talking with her on the phone for "57 minutes" the other day.

I tried that, but he's not budging and I can hardly see anything or move around in there because the garage is literally packed with junk at this point.

The remote doesn't work and I can't get to the button on the inside to open the door if he were to come out to take the bait. I'd have to leave the garage door open and keep watching for him and then try to chase him out. I don't have the time and I'm afraid his friends will come in if I just leave the door open unattended in hopes that he'll split.

Pretty much stuck with the little asshole til Saturday morning, I think.

If there's no food in there, he'll leave when he can. I'd leave it open as much as possible.

Thanks. I'll take the lap top and work for a while in there today with the door open; maybe he'll scram.

Just don't wanna leave it open when I'm not watching because I've had a couple of cats get in that way before. They're easy to chase out, though. This possum, on the other hand, is hard core. Nothing's rattling him or getting him to move. Kinda paranoid that more will slide in when I'm not looking.

P.s. Having seen one close up and personal now, I think Granny Clampett was off her rocker. No way I'd eat roast possum (unless I was starving to death).

Don't you live alone, HotD? How did your garage get filled with garbage, it's a surprise you don't have more critters in there. You know there is help for people like you.

I lived alone til a few weeks ago, but my 18 year niece old has been with me since first of August; she's going to college here in SF.

She's upstairs on the main floor now and I'm downstairs. My room is pretty big and there's a cheap no-permit bathroom with a toilet and shower down here (access through the garage, of course, where the fucking possum is lurking).

Now that I'm down here and I've got a bunch of people coming to visit for a while, doing a major purge of every single thing in the house, mostly all the stuff that was stored in the two other unused rooms downstairs and the garage, that serves no functional purpose or hasn't been used in over a year. The garage barely fits my little pick up truck, so it's not hard to pack it full either.

Your're right, though. I definitely need help. For the house stuff, the junk haulers are the people that can help me most, I think. They sort it all out for donations, recyclables, and toss-aways too.

Hideous, isn't it. I caught one eating the cat food outside one night & had a moment just like the eyeglass commercial where the lady says, here kitty kitty. Ugly mutha with its snouty nose.

They are nocturnal, Hot D and you may see some movement from him when it gets dark or even at dusk.

Thanks, Duchess. I thought I heard something in the garage a couple of times last night, but we have shared walls in my part of the city and I live on a busy street, so I just wrote it off. That's probably when he snuck in.

As soon as I turned on the light in there this morning, he made a mad dash behind a bunch of half empty paint cans that are getting tossed. They're fast. I probably scared him more than he scared me, but was a little freaked out and grabbed a broom (and then felt stupid, like one of those cartoon ladies eeking on a chair with a mouse at her feet. 50 )

I'm sure he is terrified & will leave the moment he sees the way is clear. When it begins to get dark, if you could open the door a little he will probably make a run for it.

Good luck!

What ever you do HotD, do not box him/her in! When completely cornered, you never know what they may do.

Years ago, I once cornered a "squirrel" (small cute little thing) in my outdoor shed.
When completely cornered, it went ape shit, and turned into what seemed like a mountain lion. (Still pretty sure it started off a squirrel.hah)
