+your daily weather report+
You need periods of sun & warmth for things to grow.

There's been 3 nice days here since I returned from Hawaii.

There are buds on the trees but nothing else.

Yah, I hate them too. I'm trying to stay strong for my son but inside I'm tore to pieces. I took a xanax though so I'm calm. But we are about to get hit so gotta run.

I feel your pain. I'm a headcase when conditions are right for them. I hope you're running to your shelter.

Please don't send that shit here. Please.

I turned my air on for the first time this year. Bah. I'd rather have open windows but that sucky humidity is here.

It's hittin' at least 100 for the next few days, 'round these parts.

Time for a little pool time.

I was taking care of business in Gilbert and heard the temps had been high there. Taking care of biz there always makes me think of you.

I've been offered her condo so many times, I just can't overcome my fear of flying. Stupid phobia.

Not as stupid as MS' phobia though.

True.

Your phobia is based on actual events resulting in a horrible death.

Mine:

Death from a gag reflex that can't stop, leading to horrible death?

Possibly...

Friendly advice: Work it slowly to the back of your throat.

Don't attack it like a newly signed NFL player on his white bitch.

A frickin' FROST advisory was just posted for the Twin Cities metro for tonight and early tomorrow morning.

This shit just never ends.

Have had 2-3 days of on and off T-storms and pouring rain. This area has the Erie Canal running through, as well as several creeks and streams, because of the Genesee River running through the city. And us being on Lake Ontario.
Thanks to all that, we have had a bit of flooding here and there in several of the towns and villages. Pen Yan, a village south of here, got hit bad by the storms. They have extensive damage. Some houses flooded so bad they have already been condemned. Two instances of serious flooding in 48 hours.
Here, there is a creek down the road and it flooded over in the valley area. Which happens every other year or so. Had to go to the grocery store for a few things. (Donovan, if you are reading this, I went to Tops). Part of the road and parking lot were flooded. In the middle of the water was a car, stuck in the water, high enough you could barely see the tops of the wheel wells. Dumb shit tried to drive through.

THIS is why they tell you not to drive through a flooded road. You get stuck, and a million people take a picture of you being stuck.

MSP is enjoying our 8th straight day of beautiful weather today.

86F and sunny, low humidity, under a bubble of high pressure.

If ever anyone deserved this, it's us.
