A little patch of darkness, but warm too.
Wonder if she still has her sweet pit?

I imagine New Hampshire to be a beautiful place to walk and wander (when it's not freezing ass outside).

You are correct as I spent a couple hrs today fishing a brook for 2 miles and came out with 4 12" trout. They will be breakfast in the morning.

Nice.
I've never had a fish breakfast, not even when camping. What does yours include?
Effin' Kid got that Fish Cutter sandwich stuck in my mind a few days back -- it looks really good.
I'm trying to finish up a few things around the house by late afternoon and then take my niece to The Old Clam House for early dinner. She hates fish, but loves their cheeseburger. I'm gonna address my hankering and get a fish sandwich and a cup of clam chowder.

I had the fish on the side with a couple eggs and juice. A little lemon on the fish that was cooked in olive oil. I'm off to watch my 8yr old push the lawn mower he's getting pretty good at it. A little fishing in the evening with him will be fun too.

For a second . . . just a second, mind you . . . I had a vision of an "Early Bird Special" at a Lesbian Diner.
I'd love to go trout fishing with Maggot.
It's one of the few times I actually keep my mouth shut and just smile.

I use to cook at a pier and people would bring in the fish they caught for me to prepare. Season and dredge it with flour, pan fry it and serve it with 2 eggs and grits or home fries and toast.

Nope. He's crying because you're a moron. This post is another example.

I like fish, all kinds, grilled or raw or battered and fried.
I've eaten a lot less of it since I'm not living alone anymore.
Both of your breakfasts sound delicious -- a fish/egg combo and a Bloody Mary sounds like an ideal mix to me.
I needed to test my phone cam tonight; just had the cracked glass replaced. This is the fish sandwich I had at dinner up the street.
It was damned good, but much heavier on the breading of the fillet than the one in Kid's Fish Cutter link earlier this week. Still, the spicy slaw and malt vinegar made it pretty much perfect.
The liquid in the small glasses on the table is clam broth -- it makes the fresh-baked hard-crust sour dough perfect. The liquid in the wine glass is my Cougar Juice (Chardonnay, as it's known to normal people who aren't giving me a bunch of shit).

There is nothing . . . NOTHING . . . in the world like San Francisco sourdough bread.
BTW - Ima gonna be in your neck of the woods, playing cook, for a dear friend and his sons at a gold mining camp, next Sunday.
Who knows . . . maybe a side trip to the City might do me some good?
