"Peanut" has just been named the new "World's Ugliest Dog".



I don't even think Peanut is all that ugly! He was burned early in life and his owner wants to use Peanut as a poster dog for what can happen to animals who are abused. She plans to use the $1,500 prize to pay for other animals' veterinary bills. That's cool.

No, I didn't check out the gallery and all I'm seeing right now is that I said won't when I meant to say want.

Walle is a doll. I find something likeable about almost every animal I've ever encountered except for a dalmatian and one horse.

I checked out the gallery. I see what you mean about Sweetpea Rambo. Wooooo.

It makes me happy to know that even animals who aren't pleasing to the eye have family that will love them anyway.

Walle does seem to own the red carpet; workin' the pride stride like a boss.

And, he's obviously unashamed by how inappropriately his owner dressed for the occasion -- too straight-forwardly focused to sweat the small shit.

I spent the better part of two days building furniture in a 90 degree house with a broken AC - I will tell you appropriate decorum for clothing is overrated in some situations.
