NFL 2014

I found it completely bizarre that their website indicted it had been delivered when the reality was I was right here waiting for it because I had been tracking it. Fuckers.

Don't you have to sign for FedEx? Maybe if you request a copy of the delivery consignment note, it will have one of your neighbours signatures on it?

They don't request their merchandise be signed for and I didn't think to request it myself as I've never experienced an issue with them before now. I also ordered display cases for the helmet and my autographed football at the same time I ordered the helmet and those 2 items had no problem reaching me.

Wow. You have to sign for any FedEx delivery over here. Print your name as well.

I'm sure they'll miss you.

My neighbor across the street is a really great guy.

He watches our house when we're out of town and comes over (he and his wife) in the summer and hangs out on the deck

There's one little, teeny, tiny problem though...

He's a Packers fan. He is FROM Wisconsin, so at least I can manage my conflicted emotions a little better. Whenever the Vikes lose to GB he always sounds so genuinely sympathetic, but I just know there's some real self-satisfaction lurking deep down inside.

As a Vikings fan, it's my sworn duty to always root against GB regardless of their opponent.

As for SEA, DEN and NE, they constitute my 2nd, 3rd and 4th (in no particular order) least favorite teams. So, yes, last years SB sucked for me as well.

WHEN WILL IT CHANGE?!?!?!?!

That will be forthcoming if that company doesn't hold up their end of the bargain. I got an email this morning saying they are shipping out a replacement.

Having my own men to bust kneecaps ranks right up there with having my own slaves. Oh happy day.

Boss Lady, if you could arrange for your plucked birds to recover and put 50 on the cowgirls this weekend, that would be most awesome. Cheers.

I have feelings of anxiety. That spankin' Sunday dinged my confidence.

I think the Eagles could hang 50 on Dallas. Big bounce back game.

I hope Cam Newton is alright, first and foremost.

This sucks for him personally and has gotta suck for the Panthers.

Today, he was reportedly t-boned while driving his truck and collided with another car right in front of the Bank of America Stadium where the Panthers play.

He's in the hospital with two transverse process fractures in his lower back and no further internal injuries.

The injury suffered to Newton is the same back injury that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered earlier this season. Romo missed one game this season for the injury, however no timetable was given for how long Newton will be out, if at all.

Cam Newton has been released from the hospital.

He was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his four-touchdown game (three passing, one rushing) against the Saints last week.

Whether or not he'll play in Sunday's game against the Bucs is said to depend on his abilities and soreness level at practice.

I don't see him playing. He's not a pocket passer. His legs are his money.

Kelce tweeted that the refs cheated the other day. I was sorta shocked to read that.
