NOPE. At least not with people I do not have an emotional bond with. I am not a touchy-feely person. I just do not like people invading my personal space. That being said, if I were to meet you tomorrow, Duchess, I probably would give you a big hug. But then it will be "back off, girl". LOL.

I'm not typically (except with close friends/family--we hug). I met a woman a couple of months ago in a memorial service atmosphere. My first inclination was to put out my hand and shake but we'd been talking for several minutes prior and were sort of sharing sympathies/memories so under the circumstances, when we finally got around to sharing names, I went in for a hug. She basically said "I get really uncomfortable when people do that".
Alrightee then. I actually appreciated her candor and it didn't bug me a bit but I'll probably go back to just hand shaking from now on (although usually I can trust my instincts and/or the other person makes the first move--either coming in for a hug or with a hand out). I felt HotD up and down as much as I could when we met though. Commando Cunt Queen

I naturally say "I love you" a lot to people I love, and hug and kiss people that I like or love naturally too. When user showed up at the bar, I was already 1 or 2 drinks in and really excited to meet her in person. I bet I stumbled out of the barstool and hugged her immediately (but I don't remember for sure). I do remember her feeling me up when we said our goodbyes though.

I used to hate guys comin' in for the hug and pulling me so close my boobs are crushed against their chest. Hated it. Through time I've learned that if I think that's about to happen I shoot my hand out so fast for a shake that a few have taken a step back.

I'd probably cut you some slack and not knee you in the balls though because I would expect nothing less upon meeting you.

I used to not like people touching me, but then I got more comfortable with it and got converted to being a hugger. Except for one of my brother's friends. He always hugs me uncomfortably hard. I'm afraid he'll break my glasses one day.
Hate to agree with MS, but one of the highlights of my high school reunion was when my big boobed classmates initiated a hug with me.

I'd really prefer not to hug anyone except my kids. And maybe my husband once a year. But if other people come at me with it I just go along to be polite. I've noticed people from other countries are be on hugging and kissing on the cheeks, mostly old ladies. If you meet an old Russian woman expect on getting a big hug and kiss.

Hand shakes for the guys. Hugs for the ladies.
I do have a tendency of hugging a bit tight though. But if I hug them tight enough their breasts get pressed against me, I feel it gives them the right to grab my junk and give a loving squeeze. LOL

Heh-heh.
My husband used to play rugby with a British guy (I thought they were generally uptight?) who always KISSED me when we saw each other. No tongue but right on the mouth. The horrid part was he had big, wet lips. Blurg. I got fast at quickly turning my head so he'd put his wet, yucky kiss on my cheek instead. Commando Cunt Queen
