Yeah, but quite a few of them are. At one point in the video she's talking about go into 22 plus weeks. Again, each state has it's own laws. Anybody wanting to lead that crusade should start with their state reps, not PP.
I know, I'm just saying I can understand people being appalled by their nonchalant attitude about it. Just because it's a law doesn't make it right.
Women are going to have abortions and I'm not against putting the tissue to a good cause, but at some point you have to have some kind of moral compass. Which PP and the woman speaking in the video doesn't appear to give a shit about it. Anyone with an ounce of decency would not be performing abortions past 20 weeks (and that's pushing it) whether it's legal or not. They are doing their jobs. It's everyday business for them. It's not a profession I would choose, but i'm not inclined to judge them or pretend I would handle it any differently than they do if I did. Some folks get paid to flip burgers and others get paid to terminate pregnancies.

Yep, everyday unethical business for them. Do you think they're donating the tissue out of the goodness of their hearts?

I don't believe it. You have that at your hands and you're not going to take up the opportunity to make millions off it? You're already performing late term abortions, I think your standards would be questionable.

I would be willing to insert a time limit too. The ONLY issue I really have with the two month mark is that certain (critical) tests occur around week 16. Perhaps our new law (Maggot) would offer some exception when those tests indicate significant problems.
I don't give a fuck if some fat, toothless bitch didn't even realize she was pregnant until past that two month period.
I'm pro-choice...to a point.
It would be a worthwhile endeavor for scientists to figure out how they could conduct that type of screening earlier in the pregnancy. Hell, there's so much they can tell about an embryo these days...you'd think they would be able to do a lot of this testing much earlier.

I have insomnia. Is it any wonder? My head started spinning in to "what if my son were gay" thinking (although I don't have any reason to believe he is except he's seemingly more interested in skateboarding than girls right now).
Anyway, I'd be okay with it, just want him to be happy and have healthy relationships and all that (same things you'd want for your heterosexual kids) but I'm hung up on how I would tell him to please not develop a lisp or start saying ""omigod" and all that. Plus, if he decides to have a child with this gay partner that doesn't exist, would he consider using his sperm (at least once) with some surrogate so he could maybe have a bio child (hopefully a boy because he's the only boy "heir" on my husband's side)? I mean no children or adoption or whatever they decide but...it would be cool if he and his partner would consider it...
This is when sleeping pills come in really handy.
Dear sleeping pill, please knock me out in the next 5-10 minutes.
Sincerely,
User

Crash posted sometime back about how you remind hiim of Clare Dunphy, user. I didn't know who he was talking about.
Today I was in a waiting room for a couple of hours and watched several back-to-back episodes of Modern Family; Clare Dunphy is a mom character on the show.
I'm not kidding, she ^ is so you. Very strong physical resemblance, similar personalities and histories and lifestyles; like mannerisms and voices too. She's a very funny, attractive, neurotic character btw.
I rarely watch network tv and was surprised by how much I laughed; it's a seriously smart and funny show.
Anyway, check out the show, if you get a chance. I'm interested in whether you see an uncanny resemblance too.

I am definitely going to see if I can check out that show. Watching her shrug and admit to saying "eleventy five", yeah, I can see that.
The sleeping pill did it's magic (probably a little too well since I didn't roll out of bed until 10am). My son's driving instructor showed up promptly at 10:30 for my son's driving lesson (which we both completely forgot about). He's been sitting outside for the last ten minutes. The driving instructor asked him if he had any driving instruction and my son said "a little". I added "very little". I'm sure as soon as they got in, the only buttons my son recognized were those for the radio.
I hope the instructor's not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). Damn, I was going to say I should have checked for a wedding band but that doesn't mean quite the same thing as it used to. I mean...it shows he's committed but it doesn't rule out the gay part.
At least he didn't have a lisp or flap his arms around like a chicken.

Getting my nails done bores the snot outta me. I think because I'm forced to sit still for an hour and that's difficult for me to do so this morning I started fantasizing about things going on around me and I got to thinking about the Asian mafia bustin' in and shooting the place up. Someone dropped something in another room and the noise was deafening in the quiet salon. I damn near hit the deck. The good news is that I didn't but the bad news is if it had been the Asian mafia I'd be dead because I didn't move fast enough.

Same here. There are numerous reasons I don't get manicures and particularly tips...THOSE take forever. I can barely sit through a pedicure. At least they don't (typically) feel the need to chat you up throughout the ordeal like hairdressers. I just can't stand that.

I remember that you have ants in your pants like I do and have trouble sitting through a whole movie too. Seriously, I have to almost concentrate on sitting without fidgeting or sighing deeply while I'm in the tech's chair.
