Please, God, please don't freeze me in fear if I ever see a customer walking around a store with a machete.

What if it was a machete store?

But, is there a guarantee on how many gifts can be wrapped per hour? If not, I'd probably rather pay by the gift than the hour and know how much it was gonna cost in advance. If somebody paid me $10 an hour, they'd probably owe me like $50 for 10 gift wraps. But, if they paid me a buck a gift, they'd only owe me $10. (Putting my second grade math mastery to use here. )

Watching 'The Voice' finale.
Blake Shelton and his contestant just sang 'Rhinestone Cowboy' and Adam Levine and his contestant just sang 'God Only Knows'. Two oldies I like a lot and they both did great.

I'm not moving anytime soon, but seriously considering it in the not too distant future. I love my old house and the area and would love to stay put actually. But, it makes more sense financially to relocate and we'll be good wherever we land. In the meantime, I'm getting my niece a dog for the new year, which I hope helps instill more responsibility and gets her out walking every day. That's the deal and I'm gonna make her keep it. In addition, as of week before last, we have 2 huge raccoons who've taken up night residence in my backyard and keep knocking the bird bath over. I wish they'd leave, but I much prefer them to the mean ugly possum who sneaked into the garage last year.

Housing market is pretty hot here at the moment. Places like this with a few acres and only half an hour to some of the best beaches in Australia are getting harder to find. Anyway, never really been happy here so I don't think I'll encounter any sellers remorse.
Bought a 40ft shipping container yesterday to pack what I want to keep into. Looking at a job back in West Papua and another in Qatar. Looked at a job in Angola. It paid £800/day, 75 days on/21 off, but fuck that, Angola; 12 grand a week is fuck all good to you when you have Ebola. Also put my name in a list for some rig work in the Timor Sea. Don't expect much to come out of that one, but it's the top of the wishlist

I hope they're easy to set up. Kinda excited to get the back lit up tonight (and maybe they'll keep the raccoons away).

I love this new phone, the LG V10, but the positioning of the comma button next to the space bar seems especially touchy and my autocorrect is entirely stupid in different ways from the Samsung. So my rapid fire texting comes out looking REALLY dumb. And not just because of content.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
