I think it had to have affected the votes too.

If I heard that the guy I was planning to vote for was gonna drop out soon - from what I thought was a reliable source - I'd probably vote for my second choice instead.

In my opinion, Trump and Carson, as much as I dislike them both, have a legitimate beef on this one.

Carson told a reporter that after Iowa he was going to go back to Florida for a couple of days and then he was going to go to D.C. for the prayer breakfast.

Cruz's team then sent out this letter.



I think that's a "dirty trick", just like Carson claims. Cruz's letter definitely implied that Carson would be dropping out and isn't reflective of what Carson said.

Cruz at first blamed the media (as usual). Now he says that the letter was fine, but his team should have sent a follow-up afterwards, when it was clear Carson wasn't dropping out. That's bullshit. That letter never should have been sent out in the first place.

I don't know how many Carson supporters actually voted for someone else as a result of that letter, but I think Cruz's victory is tainted regardless.

I'm beginning to think that Obama had e-mailed Hillary on her server a bunch of times and she sent info to him and now the administration is scrambling to put together some kind of stonewall around that fact. I know that they are trying to brush it away but it went from a couple e-mails to over 1,200 so something is certainly amiss.

The field narrows...
-For anyone who was aware that Republican evangelical Rick Santorum was still in the race, he's dropped out. He is endorsing Marco Rubio.

-Republican Rand Paul dropped out yesterday. He says he won't endorse any candidate, but will support the GOP nominee in the general election.

-Republican Mike Huckabee and Democrat Martin O'Malley both dropped out on Monday. Neither has endorsed another candidate.

-Lindsay Graham dropped out last month. He is endorsing Jeb Bush.

-Scott Walker dropped out in September. He is holding off on endorsing anyone.

Next Up...
The New Hampshire primary will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 9^th.

I think Cruz's bullshit in Iowa probably hurt his image and may have cost him some potential NH votes, so NH will be between Trump and Rubio for the Republicans. Cruz will be behind them, and Kasich and Bush will probably do better than they did in Iowa. Carson's just about toast, in my opinion, and he hasn't put a lot of focus on NH. I think Christie and Fiorina are probably just about toast too. It'll be interesting to see who drops out after NH.

New Hampshire has historically been good for the Clintons, but Bernie's got a lot of support from NH Democrats and Independents. I think he'll beat Hillary by several percentage points there.

Here is my theory:

Hillary was really sending love notes to Bill. Personal use of Gov't property is a big no no.....and the lawmakers in Congress think they should be the only ones to do that. Specifically playing games, writing love notes to their mistresses, etc. on their computers during official sessions of Congress during which time, they are supposed to be actively "working." However, our Congress does not have a particularly high standard work ethic, and they are not going to let anyone who was a Cabinet member on Obama's team get by with personal use of computer, too.....My God, doesn't she know, only Congress members can do that. Not only that, she is a woman for God's sake......It has nothing to do with Top Secret stuff, just misuse of Gov't property.....The End
