When it's cold, SNAKES ( I HATE SNAKES) like to stay in their lair. (FL SNAKES (I HATE SNAKES) don't like the cold either! hah )

I just moved a bunch of logs on the bottom of my woodpile to the top and found a couple of burrows for snakes or chipmunks or something in the ground. I put a couple logs back so they could stay warm. Jesus its fucking cold out! the thermometer has bottomed out at -10F.

It cold here too and I have a tiny bit of snow. It makes everything look magical but the pond won't freeze for skating and there is no skiing on a coastal plain.

Be prepared and have a plan of action....I've been in two of them in my life and they are no fun and strike quickly and fiercely.... Not trying to scare you anymore than you already are duchess, just know what you're going to do ahead of time.

I heard of a Tornado that dumped vipers along a 100 mile swath, if it didn't get you, the snakes would.

Would a meteorite be considered a weather phenomenon? Or an asteroid whacking the earth? We get hit a lot but its out in the ocean mostly with an explosion 19 miles above land or sea with the force of an atomic Hiroshima. February 9th one hit 1500 miles east of South America, but if one hit land is it a weather event?

I am & I do but it never keeps the fear at bay. I've been lucky enough that I've never seen what you have but I have been grazed by them before and I fully understand the seriousness of them. It scariest shit ever.
