Presidential race 2016
I could be wrong, but I don't think that meme was meant to demonize transgenders or portray them as perverts who will rape your children. I saw it more as a message that this will now open up the door and welcome any perverted man in with intentions other than just using the restroom.

Norman Bates was not a tranny but a psycho that had a dual personality his mother and himself. Even though he dressed as a woman he was not truly transgender. That was just a movie but I can see the implications and the possibility of a big fat faker going into the ladys room and raising hell. As with anything else people always do their best to fuck up a good thing.
Single person bathrooms is the only way. put a lock on them and call it a day. The inconvenience of all is required to appease a few. Welcome to the modern bizarro world.

The law North Carolina passed makes it illegal for transgenders to use a bathroom which doesn't match their birth gender, which is what the Cruz ad and the Schilling tweeted meme was addressing.

To me, Cruz's ad is clearly saying that trans women are not safe to have in the restroom with other women because they're really all just men pretending to be women. And, Schilling's meme was a visual depiction of that same message with an image that demonizes transgender women as scary perverted men. But, I understand how you could view them both as "slippery slope" messages instead.

Anyway, it's already against the law for people to commit acts of perversion against (or with) others in public restrooms and I think Trump makes more sense on this one than Cruz or Schilling.

I don't know, I just viewed the meme as saying " hey, any man can throw on a wig now and go to the women's room and if you don't like it you're a bigot". Like what Maggot said, the true transgenders aren't the ones to worry about, it's the nuts you have to worry about.

I understand why some people worry about nuts. There will always be assorted nuts among us. And, I think Cruz and Schilling are far from alone in their belief that all transgenders are nuts who represent a threat to society's morality and/or safety.

For me, a mountain is being made of a molehill. Transgenders have been going to the bathroom in public forever without issue or even awareness. Now that there's more visibility around transgender issues, there seems to be more acceptance and tolerance of transgenders in general. But, there also seems to be more outward disdain of transgenders by fearful extremists who resent the greater acceptance and tolerance. That's Nothing new though; the same thing happened when gays started coming out more and society's collective view on gay rights and anti-discrimination began evolving.

The anti-gay crusade was successful for a lot of years, now it's on to the trans community, I guess.

I remember Anita Bryant. She should re-release her albums so we can remember how endearing she was.

Fuckface was in Delaware yesterday. They put him in a big barn on the fairgrounds. I thought it was so appropriate that there was a goat show going on in the barn next to it.

Trump's campaign people are telling the RNC and others that in regards to Donald's demeanor, it was all an act. That he has been telling people what they've wanted to hear but from here on out you'll see a different Donald Trump, a more low key and serious individual. 78

Did they just tell everyone that it's all been a lie?

I believe in trolling circles that's called "the reveal." The fish are good and hooked, they bought in 100%, now he yanks the carpet out. Problem is, he whipped all those idiots into a frenzy, so now we have half a nation full of frenzied idiots with nowhere to direct that agitation. Probably be a long fucking summer...

Hillary is not going to quit campaigning, if there was anything to this witch hunt they'd have pulled it already. That tough old bird can take more punches and keep standing with a smile than one of those boppo clowns.

What if she has a medical emergency? I'm not talking about her scandals.

If she decides to launch a comeback tour, Anita could start in North Carolina -- other performers like Springsteen and Pearl Jam are cancelling their shows in the state.

Charles Barkley is pushing to have have the 20I7 NBA All-Star game moved from Charlotte. Paypal cancelled it's expansion plan in Charlotte and 150,000 people have signed a petition to governor McCrory to repeal the law. I don't how much revenue is being lost, but imagine it's more than just a drop in the bucket.

Anyway, a repeal bill has been drafted in the state congress, but it's not expected to pass.
