Sammy Sleeves is back in the fold.

When Denver was off the table, he shut up and showed up, much like I assumed. Sometimes listening to your agent doesn't work, and it makes you look like a putz.

The putz.

I sure hope my NFL oomph comes back soon. I feel so much meh about it all these days. I got an autographed Fletcher Cox helmet for Christmas and it's still sitting in the box here in my office. I never put it up on the shelves with the rest of my Eagles loot. I'm not feeling anything and that makes me sad. This hadn't better be what it feels like to fall out of love. I've loved them a good part of my life. :(

RG3 called Cleveland a slut.

That pretty much makes him a Whoooa.

To be fair, he said something like, "(Cleveland) is like your new girlfriend, you don't worry about all the guys in the past, you just hope you're the last."

He was asked about the long list of QBs that Cleveland has had in the last decade or so.

99 days and counting until our first season NFL game. Not a moment too soon...

The only 2 open practice days are on a Sunday. Bummer. I won't be going this year.

Marshawn Lynch has retired. Anyone surprised?

I'm only surprised he actually told the press about it.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I don't normally read Bleacher Report but I clicked on a story on the CNN site and that's where it took me. It was a story about Megatron's retirement and the beating an NFL player's body takes. He said he used to run over defensive backs and now he has trouble getting out of bed. He doesn't walk first thing in the morning, he shuffles. He's 30 years old.

This is one of your guys, isn't it, Donovan? Von Miller signed a $114.5 million dollar contract which includes $70 million in guarantees, $23 million in a signing bonus and $61 million over the first 8 months. Woooo.

Yesterday was open practice at Lincoln Financial Field and for the first time in a long time I wasn't one of the 18,000 people there. I'm only bummed that I discovered after the fact that fans were allowed out on the field after practice, they got to take pix and mingle with players. Woe is me :(

So many Vikings fans are really stoked for this season.

I haven't been this excited before a season since Favre signed with us prior to 2009.

That season ended with an OT loss in the NFC title game.

I'm pretty excited. We're going to see what Wentz can do during the preseason. It's a glimpse into our future franchise QB.

This will make the Philly Cleveland matchup a bit more interesting, Cleveland just named RG3 the starter.

Sorry, I meant opening weekend, not preseason

He only gave us problems his first year. I think defenses learned how to play him after that because he hasn't done squat since. Same thing with Mike Vick. He did great in 2010, after that, not so much.

I've missed seeing him throw those field long bombs to DeSean. That was some very exciting football.
