I love a rainy day as long as I don't have to go out to work in it.

I hiked a mountain once in college, with some girl who told me after we got to the top that she had a boyfriend. Not that I had a shot with her. I was 20 years younger and 100 pounds lighter and I was still huffing and puffing my way up the mountain.

I think women prefer to hike mountains without cramps on all the time.

Someone needs to come visit you and smack you in the face with a large cooler full of snowballs.

70 degrees, baybay! It felt like Spring and I wanted to smell dirt. Ahaha! Nature is waking up, my trees are budding, the daffodils are up a few inches. Now I have the urge to get the pressure washer out. *reins self in*

The rest of you may not be familiar with what winter is supposed to be, but, here in the upper Midwest we kind of pride ourselves in 'toughing out' Old Man Winter.

Sheesh.

It's Feb 7th.

There's maybe an inch of snow on the ground, and, except for the next 36 hours, we're looking at a very March-like forecast starting Friday.

Almost 50 for that day, and a string of 40's to follow.

Climate Change or Global Warming?

You tell me.

Don't talk to me about toughing it out in the winter. I survived 4 years of harsh winters in the North Country...Potsdam NY. Where no one was surprised when we got snow in May and it was colder than Siberia.

SUNY Potsdam. Clarkson was our rival. My best friend from high school went to Clarkson. My second youngest brother puked in his dorm hall. Hahahahahhahaha!
