I work so I can afford my life. My job used to be a lot of fun. I got to hangout on job sites getting filthy and wearing a hardhat, I got to plan parties and talk to sexy architects but all that changed almost 2 years ago. Now I have a shit ton more responsibility and I rarely get to go to the site except to sometimes hand out paychecks or drop plans off. I make more than twice as much money now but it doesn't always make up for the daily grind of it. Work is work, Clang. Just do it.

Clang, try humping 130 pound sheets of drywall up three flights of stairs in the summer all day long, then you will appreciate your job you spoiled brat.

See Clang this is what happens when you start bitching about work in a music/lyric thread.

It's not a goddamn social event.
It is a goddamn social event. People working, laughing and socializing with each other while I'm stuck in the corner ignored except for when they give me more work or yell at me for screwing a title up. Or when my ex-trainer comes by and keeps trying to tell me what to do like she's my boss. I can't force people to socialize with me so I guess I'll have to cope with the loneliness and sadness.
But I can put an end to my ex-trainer bossing me around and maybe talk to my bosses about assigning someone to re-train me or help me with the stuff I don't understand since my bosses tell me to ask questions but they are all too busy with the phone reps or on the phone themselves to help me. And I can talk to them about how they never tell me anything so I'm left wondering if they ever plan on letting me back on the phones and do the goddamn job I was hired for.
Fuck me. I'm goddamn Eeyore.

It's idiotic to want some goddamn respect from the people you work with? I mean I know I'm not going to get respect from most of you...but come on....

Of course it's not idiotic to want respect from those you work with.
Next time that bitchflake tries to tell you how to do your job ask her if she's your new supervisor. Bitch needs to stay in her own goddamn department.

Wish I could tell her off. That's been my problem my whole life. I'm too nice and I hate confrontation so I usually try and avoid it. I'm a sensitive person so instead of confrontation I just end up a massive ball of stress until I bawl like a baby. Which usually ends with my bosses telling me to suck it up and that I'm doing a good job but none of my issues I bring up get resolved. Yeah well I'd be doing a GREAT job if you had properly trained me in the first place and then I probably be able to handle the phones but no you shut me down after only three days on the phone because I didn't ask customer's the right questions. But you never trained me properly on the different scenarios to be able to ask the right questions. I was new to the phones but apparently I was supposed to know what to do and handle calls without any training.

Please don't start bawling like a baby down at the DMV, Clang. Not only will they fire you, they'll haul your fat ass off to the nut house.
Just calm down.

You've got great benefits, Clang. You're very lucky, not everyone gets something like that from their employer. I'd try to hang in there for that alone. I understand that some days are better than others, it's like that in any job. Remember back to when you really wanted this job, maybe that'll help to get you through the bad days.

I didn't really want this job, but I took it because Mom always wanted me to have a good paying successful job and I wanted good medical and dental benefits and because I like having money to buy my lady clothes and beer signs. I was somewhat happier actually in my graveyard shift cashier job at Price Chopper, but that was part-time. low pay and the benefits were non existent.
But yeah I guess there are good days and bad days. Today wasn't so bad. My boss actually mock yelled at me for being noisy. Its funny because I'm usually so quiet.

Do you feel compelled to throw frisbees at the moon when you dress up?

No, but I am feeling compelled to maybe try a Sephora 45 minute custom makeover at JCPenney at Crossgates Mall. I'd have to buy like $50 worth of makeup and I'd probably go en femme to get the full experience.
I almost made it outside en femme on Monday, while Dad and my brother were running errands. Made it to the open doorway of the apartment. Baby steps.

I always knew you were gay despite the tough guy persona.
