I spoke too soon about the nice weather here. It's not really that cold, lows only in the 30s, but it's raining and windy as fuck. It's so nasty out it might even bring snow.

Apparently space heaters are dangerous because people burn themselves up with them all the time here. I've never used one, the lowest it ever gets here is in the 20s every few years which isn't worth the risk of dying in a fire. That's beach weather to MS.

That will just push the snakes further south.

What goddamn snakes is Car's always talking about? I only see black snakes and occasionally a rat snake around here. I know there are venomous ones living amongst us, but I've never seen them.

It's been unusually cold here over the last week, but also dry.
I haven't had any time to water out front and back recently -- which I normally wouldn't have to do this time of year. But, we've had no much-needed rain. UNTIL............(hopefully) today. We're supposed to get showers later this afternoon. Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!

They are probably old space heaters that don't turn off when tipped over. Also you are not supposed to use 20 extension cords for them-they should be plugged directly into a wall. Also keep the heat away from flammable stuff Also don't leave it unmonitored. LOL I know people who leave heaters on in their storage areas or other places-and fire never happens because they set it up properly. |
