I was gifted a kayak. My friend tied it down to the top of my vehicle. I had to take it off for an oil change and I haven't put it back on! OMG it is a work out! With my bum left leg and right neck and shoulder, it's a workout to change the sheets/make my queen sized bed. It's a workout to get up from the bed too.

I would be afraid to take out a kayak. That thing would flip and the last thing I would remember is Clang bitching about his troubles, That aint a good way to croak.

They are very easy to tip. The last time I was in one was back home on the St. Lawrence.

Before the pandemic and my car accident I had plans to kayak with friends this summer. They hook the kayaks together and puff puff pass as they paddle down the lazy river.

I will only be kayaking in a calm lake. And I'll wear a life vest. Guess I should take a whistle with me too.

You might want to take your cell phone too, in case of an emergency. Put it in a zip lock lunch bag, if you're afraid it may get wet.

We were on a third floor rooftop balcony and the firework were going off right above us, it was fun most likely going to book this house next year even though they raised the price.

I hate it when they set off fireworks around here & so do my horses. At least it was only last night, so far, other people have been putting up with that shit for days.

I heard booms pretty late last night. I just worry about fires. But it seems all clear this morning.

Me and my brother Ed watched the fireworks going off outside my apartment window, ordered some poke bowls through grubhub and watched the Impractical Jokers movie on Amazon Prime. Went food shopping this morning and had some Taco Bell for lunch.

Yeah I couldn't believe the fireworks around here. First time we were here for the 4th fireworks.
We watched them through our living room window, (staying in A/C) they were (3) neighbors (spaced 4 or 5 blocks apart)
who had to have spent several hundreds of dollars each to put on such a spectacular beautiful fireworks display!
Their fireworks were almost as good as the professional displays. (amazing)

Still have all my fingers and toes, but managed to get a killer sunburn on my forehead and shoulders.
Bands played until 4 AM, fireworks show was an hour long. Hubs was still passed out in the back of the van when I drove home this morning. I left him in the driveway for 3 hours.

Well worth the $6 for basically a supersized episode of their show. I have access to it for another day and a half. I might watch it 1-2 more times. Paula Abdul was awesome and so was the Caveman challenge with Joe Gatto pretending to be a child that was lost in the cave for 30 years. He looked like Gollum and was wearing a "I'm the Beef" tshirt.

I was in no shape to drive last night we slept in the barn on a few cots.

The kayak had its maiden voyage today. So happy. It was the best. I love being out on the water! And I got to feed the ducks so much closer. I had my cell phone on me and took a ton of pictures. I will be receiving a go-pro soon so that will be better suited for pictures. I did have a wet/dry bag for my phone and other items but kept opening it up to use it!
