Justice Ginsburg has died. My God.

2020 has sucked ass.

McConnell is going to push some unqualified conservative judge thru like shit through a goose. I hope to god they can delay him.

Her death is a tragic loss but she fought like a god damn champion for as long as she could. RIP ma'am, you were an inspiration to millions of young women.

She's battled death many times the last several years. She doesn't have to worry about Covid-19 any more. R.I.P. Your Honor!

Sad sad day

I saw it said that a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, which began last night, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness. 

News of her death was the gasp heard round the world even tho she was frail and elderly. She fought the good fight for us and it took Bitch McConnell only moments to come out and say a new justice would get a vote on the floor. We can't count on them not to be the hypocrites they all are so it's my hope that once Dems are back in power that they expand the court, two can play their fucked up games and Dems better do so.

I didn't think she had much time left but she used the time she had well more than most. R.I.P.

How was she even still working at 87?  My grandfather was 85 when he died, and he couldn't put his shoes on the right feet.  

I wonder if that's why it takes so long for the supreme court to make a decision.  Most of them are old as fuck, and can't remember what it is that they're supposed to be deciding.

There should be term limits all around DC. Many of the judges are put into lifetime positions. Not that long ago there was an elderly Senator who couldn't even find his way to & from his office, he needed a keeper.

The Supreme Court already leaned to the right, the addition of another republican nominated judge only ensures that the court won't be fair. They will end Roe V Wade and probably healthcare which they are already in the courts trying to get rid of and there is some thought that they could call the election. There is much to be concerned about if our highest court in the land is not a fair court.

I doubt that it has ever been impartial and imagine the leanings have swung to and fro.
