I'm not ready for boots and sweaters yet. It was raining this mornin,but now the Sun is out.

I have godawful humidity here, Clangy, it makes the Summer months as sucky as they can be. It's mostly miserable with just a few lovely days here & there.

Humidity is rampant here in SNAKEland! (I HATE SNAKES)

I am in boots today. Thin ones, not thick ones.

The weather was great yesterday for kayaking. Today the air is filled with smoke, tho it is just in the "moderate" range of unhealthiness.

When you wear them they should be called Battleship tops.

Why??????

The businesses have started thier harvest/halloween decorating and we are currently putting together our scarecrow for the city contests. We have some cool props. Went to the thrift stores to find stuff too. That was fun.

I just saw it snowing in Lake Placid this morning. Wooooo.

It was snowing in NH this morning,  too.   Mount Washington.

There was snow in the mountain tops this time last year! Thats all I know-that and well today when I went up lake I saw this one mountain as empty from snow as ever. I have to get a pic of it tomorrow.

Hurricane coming straight up Florida, gonna fuck us up. Hopefully not too bad.

The ocean absorbs that quickly, I would think, unlike a river valley. Still a hell of a lot of rain.

It's ok. Those people are tough. They'll rebuild and rebuild until it happens again. The cycle of life continues ad infinitum.

Hard to get a mortgage if you can't get flood insurance.

When I left we had clear sky, now I will be leaving smoke, driving through smoke and into smoke. Ugh.

Is it like that most every Fall? I ask because this isn't the first time I've seen you talk about smoke from the wildfires.
