I will check out that weather app thanks!

It rained last night, everything is wet. I will go on a walk in the woods soon with my rain boots.

I left Williams on Sunday and am now in Yuma, AZ . . . 7,000 feet to approximately sea level.

High 80's and sunny with no rain in the forecast for the next ten days.

Yeah . . . Yuma.

Where Border Patrol officers are referred to as "travel agents".

Will be having dinner with my BP relation, on Friday.

Looking forward to his take versus the "official" propaganda.

Now . . . it's pool time.

Omg you are so much closer to me now! Wow. ALSO, I have a friend visiting AZ right now too. I wonder where she is, I can't remember.

Must be nice to be in warm weather.

The weather here is basically the same as it is at home.

One major difference here, in Yuma, is the sound of Marine F-35Bs roaring through the night sky, as they take off from the base.

So far this evening, at least 10 aircraft within the last half hour.

Weather here has been perfect the last week. Mild, low humidity.

We had a pretty bad rain storm, knocked the olives off trees, damaged my gargae roof and it's been raining a bit every day since so the persian carpet i'm attempting to clean won't dry.

It's been a perfect Fall day today and like Clang experiences, it is chilly in the mornings now, but it's warms up a great deal during the day and  I'm finally seeing some pretty autumn color.

That is a lot. I grew up next to a base and it was always just background noise, but when I moved away and went back to visit I remember thinking it was a lot, also I may have been there when they were having specific excercises.

Tonight the moon is bright. I went outside and felt the cold air on my face and looked at the moon.

It's 66 sunny degrees and it will be another 80 degree day here. The countryside is so pretty wearing all its gorgeous fall color.

Glad you get to see the fall colors. It was crisp in the 20's and 30's today.
A crew showed up at 9 am and we were done shortly after noon. ( Replenished the wood pile. )

You're lucky,    we didn't get much coloring this year.   The extreme northern part of the state did,  but the rest of the state went from green to brown.   The people who keep track of these things said that we had too much rain over the summer (although I can't understand why well watered maples wouldn't change colors).

My area hit 83 yesterday,  but we only supposed to get to the 40's today.   Ahh, gotta love New England weather.

It feels like it happened all at once. One day everything was green & lush and the next day there was a symphony of color--orange, red and yellow & burgundy.

That's a hell of a drive, kid. I hope it's a fun trip and not for something sad like a funeral.
